PRAYERS 204 Exalted, perfected a change in me of the kind which cannot be brought about by the hand of man or by man's volition. (Nuz u lul-Mas ih , page 236, R uha n i Khaz a ’in, vol. 18, page 614-615) Emphasis on Reciting Dur u d Shar i f and Istighf a r The Promised Messiah as advised, late Choudhry Muhammad Bakhsh in a letter: "After evening and night prayer, repeat 'Dur u d Shar i f' as much as possible. Repeat it with sincerity and love. It is better if you can fix the number of this repetition eleven hundred times or seven hundred times daily. " ٰ _َ2 ِّ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ ﺻَﻞ ٰ _َ2َْحمَُﻤَّﺪ ٍ و ٰآل ِ حمَُﻤَّﺪ ٍ کَﻤَﺎ ﺻَﻠَّﻴ _َ2 َ ﺖ ْ ْاِﺑ ٰ ﺮَاﻫِﻴ _َ2َْﻢ َ و ْ آل ِ اِﺑ ْ ﺮَاﻫِﻴ ٌ ﻢ َ اِﻧَّک َ محَِﻴ ْﺪ ٌ جمَِّﻴ ْ ﺪ ٰ،اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ ﺑَﺎرِک _َ2 ٰ _َ2َِّحمَُﻤَّﺪ ٍ و ٍآل ْ حمَُﻤَّﺪ ٰ کَﻤَﺎ ﺑَﺎرَک _َ2 َﺖ ْ ْاِﺑ ٰ ﺮَاﻫِﻴ _َ2َﻢَ و ْ ْآل ِ اِﺑ ْ ﺮَاﻫِﻴ ٌ ﻢَ اِﻧَّکَ محَِﻴ ْﺪ ٌ جمَِّﻴ ﺪ. "Recite this Dur u d. One can see the Holy Prophet sa in a dream if recitation is persevered with hearty enthusiasm and love. It is a great means for the illumination of the inner self and steadfastness in the faith. After morning prayer ' Istighf a r ' should be repeated three hundred times with great humility. " (Makt u b a t-e-Ahmadiyya, vol. 5, page 7) Dur u d from the Innermost Heart َاَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ ﺻَﻞ ِّ وَﺳَﻠِّﻢ ْ وَﺑَﺎرِک ْ 2َﻠَﻴªْ ِ وَاٰﻟªِ ِ ﺑَﻘَﺪ ُْ رِمه ªَِّ وَﻏَﻤ ªِّ وُﺣُﺰْﻧ ªِ هلِٰﺬِہ اﻻ ﻣﺔ َ ◌ ِ وَاَﻧْﺰِلْ 2َﻠَﻴªِْ اَﻧْﻮَارَ ر ﺣْﻤﺘ ِ اِىل َ ا ﻻَْﺑَﺪ. O All a h , shower 'Dur u d' , Peace and blessings on Muhammad sa and his followers. Grant as much blessings and mercy as he had grief and sorrow of his people in his heart. And bestow upon him light of Your mercy always and forever. (Barak a tud-Du‘ a ’, R uha n i Khaz a ’in, vol. 6, page 10-11)
