PRAYERS 112 none worthy of worship except You. Do not lead me astray. You are the Ever Living Being who is Immortal, while human beings and jinns will perish ultimately. Prayer for the Improvement of Faith and the World Hadrat Ab u Hurairah ra relates this prayer of the Holy Prophet sa ْ ْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ اَﺻ ِْﻠِﺢ ْىل ْ دِﻳ ْىن َِ اﻟَّﺬِی ْ ﻫُﻮ َ ﻋِﺼ ْ ﻤَﺔ ُ اَﻣ ْﺮِی ْ وَ اَﺻ ِْﻠِﺢ ِْىل ْدُﻧﻴَﺎی َ اﻟَّىت ﻓِﻴ ِْ ﻬَﺎ ْﻣَﻌَﺎÕ ْ ،وَاَﺻ ِْﻠِﺢ ِْىل ْآﺧِﺮÇَ َِ اﻟَّىت ْ ﻓِﻴ ْﻬَﺎ ﻣَﻌَﺎدِی َْ ،وَاﺟ ِّْ ﻌَﻞ ِ احل ِْﻴَﺎة َ زِﻳَﺎدَة ً ىل ٍْىف َّ Lُﻞِّ ﺧَري ْ،و َْ اﺟ ْ ﻌَﻞِ امل ﻮ ِّْ ْتَ رَاﺣَﺔً ىل ٍّﻣِﻦ Lُﻞِّ ﺷَﺮ. 225 O All a h , improve this faith of mine which is a means of strength and steadfastness in my affairs. Reform my worldly affairs of earning a living. Make my life to which I have to return after death, better. Make my life prosper in all good aspects and save my death from every evil and make it a source of peace. Prayer for Attaining Good and for Protection in this World and the Hereafter Hadrat Anas bin M a lik ra requested the Holy Prophet sa for an exceptional prayer. In response the Holy Prophet sa taught him the same prayer for three days. The Holy Prophet sa said, “If someone attains goodness of this world as well as in the next, it would be a great success”. The Holy Prophet sa taught this prayer to Hadrat ‘Abb a s ra and Hadrat ‘Al i ra and said that after accepting the truth there is nothing greater than God's protection. َّ ِّْاَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ ْاِىن ْ اَﺳ ْ ﺌَﻠُکَ اﻟ ْ ﻌَﻔ ْ ﻮَ وَاﻟ ِ ﻌَﺎﻓِﻴَﺔَ ىفِ اﻟﺪُّ ﻧ وَاﻻَْﺧِﺮَة ﻴَﺎ. 226 O All a h , I beg Your forgiveness and protection in this world and in the world Hereafter.
