PRAYERS 96 Hadrat Anas ra , an attendant of the Holy Prophet sa to narrate a tradition, which he himself had heard from the Messenger of God. Hadrat Anas ra replied that he had heard the Holy Prophet sa say that whosoever recites this prayer at dawn and dusk, God takes upon Himself the responsibility to make him happy on the Day of Judgement. ْ [ِرَﺿ َّ ﺑِﺎﷲِ رَﺑًّﺎ،و ْﻨَﺎ ْ ﺑِﺎﻻِْﺳ ْ ﻼَمِ دِﻳ ،وَ مبُِﺤَﻤَّﺪٍ رَﺳُﻮ ً ﻨًﺎ ﻻ. 187 We are happy and content to believe in All a h as our Creator and Islam as our faith and Muhammad sa as our Prophet. Hadrat ‘Abdull a h bin Ghanam ra narrates, the Holy Prophet sa said whosoever recites these words at dawn and dusk has offered his gratitude for the day or the night. ْ ِْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ ﻣَﺎ اَﺻ ْﺒَﺢ َ ىب ِّﻣِﻦ ْ ﻧ ٍ ﻌ ْﻤَﺔ ْ ﻓَﻤِﻨ ْ ک َ وَﺣ َ ﺪَک َ ،ﻻ َ ﺷَﺮِﻳ َْ ک َ ﻟَک َ ،ﻓَﻠَک ْ احل ْ ﻤ ُ ﺪُ وَ ﻟَکَ اﻟﺸُّک ﺮ. 188 O All a h , every blessing and good thing that I have, is solely and purely from You. You have no partner. You are entitled to all praise and gratefulness. Hadrat Ab u ‘Ayy a sh ra relates that the Holy Prophet sa said that whosoever recites these prayers at dawn and dusk receives a reward equal to freeing a slave, who in status is equal to Hadrat Ism a‘i l as' s(Ishmael) progeny. Ten good deeds are credited to him and his ten sins are forgiven. His status is raised ten levels and he is safe from the Satan. One of the narrators of this tradition, Hadrat H amm a d ra says that a person saw the Holy Prophet sa in a dream and asked him that Ab u ‘Ayy a sh told him this; the Holy Prophet sa replied that he had told the truth. These are the words of the prayer: ْﻻ َ اِﻟªٰ َ اِﻻ َّ اﷲ ◌ُوَﺣ ﺪَہ ْ َ ﻻ َ ﺷَﺮِﻳ ک َ ﻟ ªُْ ْ ﻟªَ ُ امل َْ ﻠ ْ ک ُ وَﻟªَ ُ احل ِّ ﻤ ُﻞL ٰ _َ2 َ و َ ﻫُﻮ ُ ﺪ
