PRAYERS 97 َْ Õ ْ ءٍ ﻗَﺪِﻳ ﺮٌ. 189 There is none worthy of worship except All a h. He is One and has no partner. His is the Sovereignty and all praise belongs to Him. He has power over everything. Ummul-Mu’min i n Hadrat Umm-e-Salmah ra relates the Holy Prophet sa taught her this prayer to recite in the evening: ْ ْ اَﻟﻠóُّٰﻢَّ ﻋِﻨ ْ ﺪَ اِﺳ ْ ﺘِﻘ ْ ﺒَﺎل ِ ﻟَﻴ ْ ﻠِکَ ،وَ اِد ِ ﺑَﺎرِ ﻧóََﺎرِکَ،وَ اَﺻ ْ ﻮَاتِ د2َُﺎﺗِکَ وَ ﺣُﻀُﻮر ْ ﺻَﻠَﻮَاﺗِکَ اَﺳ ْﺎَﻟُکَ اَن ِ ﺗَﻐ ﻔِﺮَىل. 190 O All a h , I supplicate You at the arrival of Your night, return of the day, at the times of the voices of the callers to You and during the timings of s al a t , to forgive my sins. Hadrat Ab u -Bakr ra used to recite these prayers three times every morning and evening and said that he heard the Holy Prophet sa recite them so he liked to keep up his tradition by repeating them. ã i ä ِْ ِْاَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ 2َﺎﻓِىن ِْىف ِْﺑَﺪَىن ِْاَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ 2َﺎﻓِىن َْىف ِْ مس Ñِْ ِْ،اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ 2َﺎﻓِىن ْىف ْﺑَﺼَﺮِی َ ﻻ َ اِﻟªَٰ اِﻻَّ اَﻧ ﺖ. 191 O All a h , protect my body, O All a h , protect my hearing O All a h , safeguard my eyes. There is none worthy of worship except You. ã ii ä ِّْ ْاَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ اِىن ْ اَﻋُﻮ ْ ذُﺑِک َ ﻣِﻦ َ اﻟ ْ کُﻔ ْ ﺮ ِ وَاﻟ ْ ﻔَﻘ ْ ﺮ ِ ،اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ اِىن ِّ اَﻋُﻮ ْذُﺑِک َ ﻣِﻦ ِْ 2َﺬَابِ اﻟ ْ ﻘَرب َ،ﻻَ اِﻟªَٰ اِﻻَّ اَﻧ ﺖ. 192 O All a h , I take You as shelter from disbelief and poverty. O All a h , I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave. There is none worthy of worship except You.
