The Miraculous Qasidah 51 فَلَمَّا الْتَقَی الْجَمْعَان ِ لِلْبَحْث ِ وَالْوَغَا فَلَمَّا الْتَقَی الْجَمْعَان ِ لِلْبَحْث ِ وَالْوَغَا ْن َ النَّاس ِ وَالْخَلْق ُ أُحْضِرُوْا ی وَنُوْدِي َ بَ ْن َ النَّاس ِ وَالْخَلْق ُ أُحْضِرُوْا ی وَنُوْدِي َ بَ When the two parties met for the debate, And announcements were made and the people assembled; ْ ْفَة َ شَرِّہ ِ بَعْض ُ رُفْقَتِي ی ِ أَوْجَس َ خ َ و ْ ْفَة َ شَرِّہ ِ بَعْض ُ رُفْقَتِي ی ِ أَوْجَس َ خ َ و لِمَا عَرَفُوْا مِن ْ خُبْث ِ قَوْم ٍ تَنَمَّرُوْا لِمَا عَرَفُوْا مِن ْ خُبْث ِ قَوْم ٍ تَنَمَّرُوْا The situation created fear among my companions, As they saw the mob turning wild. ٌ ْنَة ی ِ سَکِ ِّ السَّمَاء ْ رَّب َ مِن فَأُنْزِل ٌ ْنَة ی ِ سَکِ ِّ السَّمَاء ْ رَّب َ مِن ُفَأُنْزِل َنْصُر ی َ ُعَلٰی صُحْبَتِي ْ وَهللا ُ قَد ْ کَان َنْصُر ی َ عَلٰی صُحْبَتِي ْ وَهللا ُ قَد ْ کَان Hence, comfort from Heaven descended, Upon my companions, and God was surely supporting them. وَأَعْطَاھُم ُ الرَّحْمٰن ُ مِن ْ قُوَّۃ ِ الْوَغٰی وَأَعْطَاھُم ُ الرَّحْمٰن ُ مِن ْ قُوَّۃ ِ الْوَغٰی ٌ فَأَبْشَرُوْا ْن ی ٌ أَمِ ْ رُوْح َّدَھُم ی أَ َ و ٌ فَأَبْشَرُوْا ْن ی ٌ أَمِ ْ رُوْح َّدَھُم ی أَ َ و God granted them strength to fight, And the Holy Spirit aided them; so they were pleased. َطْرُد ُ الْقَوْم َ بِالضُّحٰی ی ٌ وَکَان َ جِدَال َطْرُد ُ الْقَوْم َ بِالضُّحٰی ی ٌ ُوَکَان َ جِدَال الْمَعْشَر ْھَا ی َ إِل ٍ أَوْمٰی خِطَّة ُإِلٰی الْمَعْشَر ْھَا ی َ إِل ٍ أَوْمٰی خِطَّة إِلٰی The people set off at the growing brightness of the forenoon to witness the debate, At the place specified by the other party. ً ْرَۃ ی تَحَرَّوْا لِھٰذَا الْبَحْث ِ أَرْضًا شَجِ ً ْرَۃ ی تَحَرَّوْا لِھٰذَا الْبَحْث ِ أَرْضًا شَجِ إِلَی الْجَانِب ِ الْغَرْبِي ِّ وَالْجُنْد ُ جُمِّرُوْا إِلَی الْجَانِب ِ الْغَرْبِي ِّ وَالْجُنْد ُ جُمِّرُوْا A piece of land with trees in it was chosen for the debate, Towards the west, and my companions were quartered over there. ِ َ قَوْمِه ِ مَقْبُوْل ُ هللا َ ثَنَاء فَکَان ِ َ قَوْمِه ِ مَقْبُوْل ُ هللا َ ثَنَاء ُفَکَان ِ سَرْوَر لِلتَّخَاصُم تَصَدّٰی ُوَمِنَّا ِ سَرْوَر لِلتَّخَاصُم تَصَدّٰی وَمِنَّا Sanaullah was chosen by his people to be their representative, And Maulaw i Syed Muhammad Sarwar Shah came up to the stage from our side.
