164 ْ اَیَا رَاشِقِی ْ قَد ْ کُنْت َ تَمْدَح ُ مَنْطِقِی ْ ُاَیَا رَاشِقِی ْ قَد ْ کُنْت َ تَمْدَح ُ مَنْطِقِی ر ِّ ٍ وَتُـؤَق َّ بِاُلْفَۃ ْ عَلَي ُوَتُثْنِي ر ِّ ٍ وَتُـؤَق َّ بِاُلْفَۃ ْ عَلَي وَتُثْنِي O you who shoot arrows at me! There was a time when you used to praise my words— You would praise me with love; you would honour me. َ مُخْلِصًا َ قَرَّظْت َ حِیْن دَرُّك ِِّٰ هّٰلل َ و َ مُخْلِصًا َ قَرَّظْت َ حِیْن دَرُّك ِِّٰ هّٰلل َ ُو ٍّ مُخَفِّر ضَال ِّ َ لِکُل ْ وَصِرْت ُکِتَابِي ٍّ مُخَفِّر ضَال ِّ َ لِکُل ْ وَصِرْت کِتَابِي And what a wonderful review you wrote—with sincerity—for my book, Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya, becoming a guide for every one fallen astray! ٖ وَاَنْت َ الَّذِی ْ قَد ْ قَال َ فِي تَقْرِیْظِہ ٖ ُوَاَنْت َ الَّذِی ْ قَد ْ قَال َ فِي تَقْرِیْظِہ ُکَمِثْل ِ الْمُؤَلِّف ِ لَیْس َ فِیْنَا غَضَنْفَر کَمِثْل ِ الْمُؤَلِّف ِ لَیْس َ فِیْنَا غَضَنْفَر And you are indeed that very one who had written in his review That there is absolutely no lion among us like this author in the cause of the Faith. َ مُدْبِرًا َرْت ک ْ َّ أَن ْ ثُم َ مَقَامِي عَرَفْت َ مُدْبِرًا َرْت ک ْ َّ أَن ْ ثُم َ مَقَامِي ُعَرَفْت ُفَمَا الْجَھْل ُ بَعْد َ الْعِلْم ِ اِن ْ کُنْت َ تَشْعُر فَمَا الْجَھْل ُ بَعْد َ الْعِلْم ِ اِن ْ کُنْت َ تَشْعُر You recognized my status and then denied me— What ignorance is this that was deliberately manifested after knowledge! ٍ وَفِطْنَۃ ٍ بِحَالِي َ عِلْم َ مَع کَمِثْلِك ٍ وَفِطْنَۃ ٍ بِحَالِي َ عِلْم َ مَع کَمِثْلِك ٭ ُ٭ ُعَجِبْت ُ لَہ ٗ یَبْغِی الْھُدٰی ثُم َّ یَأْطُر عَجِبْت ُ لَہ ٗ یَبْغِی الْھُدٰی ثُم َّ یَأْطُر It is astonishing indeed that a man like you who knew me so well, Should have found guidance only to then let go of the right path. 1 ٭ 1. ٭ Maulaw i Muhammad H usain Bat a law i has admitted with regard to me in his magazine Ish a ‘at-us-Sunnah that I am unique in my defence of the Faith in this age, and am totally devoted to Islam, and am an unrivalled champion in the path of God. Moreover, he admits about himself saying that: ‘There is none who is more aware of this person’s inner condition than I. ’ (Author)
