The commentary of al-Qa si dah 103 COUPLET 31 With one look you resurrected to life the dead of ages; Who can equal you in your glory ? This couplet mentions the superiority of the Holy Prophet sa over all of the other prophets, and this is proven by the fact that he was able to give spiritual life to his nation of Arabia in such a manner that no other prophet was able to do so. The most important and greatest mission of all prophets that came to this world was to spread the Unity of God. All a h says in the Holy Qur’ a n in S u rah an-Na h l: And we did raise among every people a Messenger (preaching): ‘worship All a h and shun the Evil One’. ( an- Na h l , 16:37 ) Keeping in mind the common mission of all prophets, we find that the followers of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa believed in the Oneness of God far more superior in quality as well as in depth when compared to other nations. Very few people from the nation of Noah as believed in him and the rest of his nation continued worshipping idols and carried on in their sinful activities. Eventually that nation was destroyed.
