Footnote Number Eleven 147 اناچر رطف زرہ امبدن وچں ِ دادار دبرہگ آرخ اندل When he is completely hopeless, At last he cries in the Presence of God— اپک �رت ن بح� � دن ر ن م�ی� اہ رعنہ یں دہن رباخک �ب� ب � رضتع و از Cries before the Holy Threshold of God, And places his forehead on dust [in prostration] with humility. زار د رگب�ی� و دنبد وخد در ِ دوشار ٔ رہ �دہ ن اشک�ی� اکے He closes his door and cries in supplication, ‘O Dispenser of difficulties! ہنگ نم ہب شخب و رپدہ ہب وپش وجش ى اشبد زدن دنمش اتہن Forgive me my sins and cover my shortcomings, Lest the enemy rejoice in abundance. ’ ااتفد رشب رطفت یں � ن �چ� وچں رکدم �ی�اد ہك زاں ہس وگہن تفص For, such is human nature That the three qualities I mentioned are all ingrained within it. ز فطل ےب اپ�ی�اں ش � یم ک� � آں اسامں مہ دباد رطفت بسح Allah the Wise, too, out of His infinite grace, Grants man the means in accordance with his nature; داد ش � عقل ش � ی � وخ دہج ازےئپ راہ رکف و ق�ی�اس و وخض اشکد Grants him the intellect to steer his efforts, And opens for him the way of reflection, reasoning, and deliberation. ادماد یں م� ہ � اب اکر ےئپ از و اہنبد درگ �یک بلق در رمح And for mutual support, He creates within their hearts compassion for one another,
