BarĀhĪn-e-a H madiyya — Part Four 146 یں رسزین ز راہ وصاب � ن �چ� وچں آرخ اتس اسحب ہك ہچ ہن داین Why do you turn away from the right path? Are you unaware that you will ultimately be called to account? دراز وت زنمل گنل وت اپےئ یں گت واتز � وچں رَیس از ت َم�َ س رت Your foot is lame and your destination far off; I wonder how you can reach it in this condition? ااسنں رطفت اتس یں � ن �چ� وخد لکشم اتس رگاں ہك د � ن وچ �ب�ی� ہك It is in the nature of man that When he runs into severe trouble, ش � ی � اول از زور و اتب و اطتق وخ ش � ی �ب� از ش � ی �ب� یم دنک یعس و دہج He first musters all his power, strength, and vigour, And exerts his efforts to the utmost. د اشکب�ی� ہتسب اکر رگم ات د ان�ی� سک اپسس ابر ر ز�ی� Perchance he might succeed in restarting the endeavour, And is not obliged to seek others’ favours. اکر رتف از دتس ہك د � ن وچں ہب �ب�ی� دتس از رتف �ی�ار ت � ن ا� رنس When he finds the task to be beyond his power, And he can no longer control the situation, ٔ �ی�اراں وکہچ وسےئ دہن رو دمداگراں از د وج�ی� دمدے He turns towards the alley of his friends, And seeks the aid of allies. د وج�ی� ربادراں دتس زور د وپ�ی� یمہ اکرداں رہ زند He calls out to his powerful brothers, And runs forth to every wise one.
