Table Manners 73. Ayesha, God be pleased with her, relates that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Whenever one of you begins to eat, he should first say 'In the name of Allah The Exalted. ' If he forgets to do so in the beginning, then, at the end of the meal, he should say, 'Bismillahe awwalahu wa akherahu. ' 'In the name of Allah, do I begin and end. " (Tirmidhi) 74, Abu Sa'eed, God be pleased with him, narrates that whenever the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would eat or drink, he would say: "All praise belongs to Allah who provided us with food and drink and made us Muslims.
