The Miraculous Qasidah 65 ٍ ِ سَاعَة ثُلْث ِ إِلٰی ُ لِمَبْحَثِه عَجِبْت ٍ ِ سَاعَة ثُلْث ِ إِلٰی ُ لِمَبْحَثِه ُعَجِبْت ْسِر ی َ ُأَکَان َ مَحَل ُّ الْبَحْث ِ أَو ْ کَان َ م ْسِر ی َ أَکَان َ مَحَل ُّ الْبَحْث ِ أَو ْ کَان َ م I was surprised that he gave only twenty minutes to [speak in] the debate. Was it meant to be a debate, or just a game of chance? ُ َ تَذْکُر کُنْت ً کُلَّمَا اَل ْ ِ مَھ أَمُکْفِر ُ َ تَذْکُر کُنْت ً کُلَّمَا اَل ْ ِ مَھ ُأَمُکْفِر َ مُظَفَّر َّ أَنْت ْ ثُم ِ کَمِثْلِي ُوَأَمْل َ مُظَفَّر َّ أَنْت ْ ثُم ِ کَمِثْلِي وَأَمْل O one who calls me a disbeliever! Put aside the past, And compose a qa si dah as I have. If you succeed in composing one, you will emerge victorious. ً ْت ُ بِأَن ْ تَخْتَار َ فِي النَّمْق ِ رُفْقَة ی ِ رَض ً ْت ُ بِأَن ْ تَخْتَار َ فِي النَّمْق ِ رُفْقَة ی ِ ُرَض ر ِّ َ نُعَی اْل ْ ِم ھ إِم ْاَلَءِ عَلٰی ُوَإِنَّا ر ِّ َ نُعَی اْل ْ ِم ھ إِم ْاَلَءِ عَلٰی وَإِنَّا I am pleased for you to even seek partners to assist you if you fear that you will lose the competition; I would not hold you accountable if they assisted you in writing down the qa si dah. َا أَبَا الْوَفَا ی فَمَا الْخَوْف ُ فِي ْ ھٰذَا الْوَغَا َا أَبَا الْوَفَا ی ُفَمَا الْخَوْف ُ فِي ْ ھٰذَا الْوَغَا ْن ٌ أَو ْ ظَفَر ْ أَو ْ أَصْغَر ی َ ُلِیُمْل ِ حُس ْن ٌ أَو ْ ظَفَر ْ أَو ْ أَصْغَر ی َ لِیُمْل ِ حُس Sanaullah! Why be afraid of the contest? Let the qa si dah be composed by Muhammad Husain or Qazi Zafr-ud-Din or Asghar Ali. ٍ وَإِنِّي ْ أَرٰی فِي ْ رَأْسِھِم ْ دُوْد َ نَخْوَة ٍ ُوَإِنِّي ْ أَرٰی فِي ْ رَأْسِھِم ْ دُوْد َ نَخْوَة َجْذُر ی َ َّ و ْ یُخْرِجَن ي ِّ َ رَب ْ شَاء ُفَإِن َجْذُر ی َ َّ و ْ یُخْرِجَن ي ِّ َ رَب ْ شَاء فَإِن I can see worms of vanity in their head; If God so wills, He will remove the worms from there and root them out for good. ْ َمْر ِ أَرْفَع َ عِنْدَکُم ْأ اْل وَإِن ْ کَان َ شَأْن ُ ا ْ َمْر ِ أَرْفَع َ عِنْدَکُم ْأ اْل ُوَإِن ْ کَان َ شَأْن ُ ا ْن َ بِهٰذَا الْوَقْت ِ مَن ْ شَان َ جَوْلَر ی ُفَأَ ْن َ بِهٰذَا الْوَقْت ِ مَن ْ شَان َ جَوْلَر ی فَأَ If you consider this task to be too difficult for the aforesaid maulaw i s, Then where is Mehr Ali Shah who defamed Golra?
