Quranic Verses Christians Cite for Jesus’ Divinity 41 of the Word of Allah and it is for this reason that the Holy Quran has been called r uh. Proof: 1. — َو َكِلٰذَك ۤاَنْيَحْوَا َكْيَلِا اًحْوُر ْنِّم اَنِرْمَا١ؕ اَم َتْنُك ْيِرْدَت اَم ُبٰتِكْلا َو اَل ُناَمْيِاْلا 1 Part 25, S u rah ash-Sh u r a , Ruk u ‘ 5 And thus have We revealed to thee a روح — r uh (the Quran) by Our command. Thou didst not know what the Book was, nor the faith. 2. ُلِّزَنُي َةَكِٕىٰٓلَمْلا ِحْوُّرلاِب ْنِم ٖهِرْمَا ىٰلَع ْنَم ُءٓاَشَّي ْنِم ٖۤهِداَبِع ْنَا اْۤوُرِذْنَا ٗهَّنَا ۤاَل َهٰلِا ۤاَّلِا اَنَا ِنْوُقَّتاَف 2 Part No. 14, S u rah an-Na h l, Ruk u ‘ 1— He sends down the angels with the r uh (Divine Word) by His command on whomsoever of His servants He pleases, and in this Word He commands, ‘Tell these idolaters that there is no one beside Allah, Who is endowed with the perfect attributes and free of all defects and worthy of being obeyed. So, remain obedient to Him. ’ 3. َكَنْوُلَٔـْسَي ِنَع ِحْوُّرلا١ؕ ِلُق ُحْوُّرلا ْنِم ِرْمَا ْيِّبَر َو ۤاَم ْمُتْيِتْوُا َنِّم ِمْلِعْلا اَّلِا اًلْيِلَق 3 Part 15, S u rah Ban i Isr a ‘ i l, Ruk u ‘ 10— People ask you as to what this Quran is.
