Last Law-bearing Prophet sa 83 For example, in S ū rah Nis ā ’, verses 163 and 164, All ā h says: 163. Surely, We have sent revelation to thee, as We sent revelation to Noah and the prophets after him; and We sent revelation to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and his children and to Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and We gave David a Book. 164. And We sent some Messengers whom We have already mentioned to thee and some Messengers whom We have not mentioned to thee - and to Moses All ā h spoke at great length In verse 163, the Qur’ ā n says All ā h sent revelation ( اوحَيْنَا ) to the prophets. Then, in verse 164, the Qur’ ā n specifies that All ā h spoke to M ū s ā ( ﷲ َ كَلم ٰ مُوسى ). Notice the distinction between revelation and speech. This is because M ū s ā as was one of the few prophets who spoke to All ā h directly, without the intermediary of an angel. . . This is Farhan Khan’s perspective on this subject and it has been presented in a very awkward manner and creates more confusion than clarity. As a result, the proper logic of the Ahmadiyya Muslim belief will now be explained. First, it must be noted that All ā h, the Exalted, ‘speaks’ with all His prophets. There’s no basis for a distinction between ‘speech’ ( D—م ) and revelation ( وح‘ ) in the sense that Farhan Khan has presented above. Consider the Arabic wording of the following verse:
