وطئ وضع تَوْصِيَةً : They will not be able to make a will )36:51( مُوْصِ )act. part from أَوْصى( : One who makes a will, a testator. مَنْ خَافَ مِنْ مُّوْصِ : He who apprehends from a testator, a partiality )2:183(. وَضَعَ ]aor. يَضَعُ inf. noun وَضْعًا and مَوْضِعًا [ : He put down, set up or set. وَضَعَهُ : He humbled him وَضَعَ الْحَدِيثَ : He forged the tradition. وَضَعَ الْكِتَابَ : He edited or wrote the book وَضَعَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ : The woman gave birth to a child وَضَعُوا الْحَرْبَ : They relinquished war; they made peace. وَضَعَ عَنْهُ اِصْرَهُ : He remitted or took a burden or anything unpleasant from him. وَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ : He (God( set up the measure )558( وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلاَنَامِ : He (God) set the earth for (His) creatures )55:11(. فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا : When she was delivered of it )3:37( وَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ : We removed (or took off) from thee thy burden )94:3( يَضَعُ عَنْهُمْ إِصْرَهُمْ : Removes from them their burden )7:158( حَتَّى تَضَعَ الْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا : Until the war lays down its burdens )47:5( تتَضَعُوْنَ ثِيَابَكُمْ : You take off or put aside or lay down your clothes )24:59( أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ : First House set up or built )397( أَوْضَعَ الْبَعِيْرُ فِي سَيْرِهِ : The camel went quickly in its pace. أَوْضَعُوْا خِلْلَكُمْ : Would have hurried to and fro in your midst )9:47( مَوْضِعٌ : Place مَوَاضِعُ )plural( . يَحَرِّفُوْنَ الْكَلِمَ عَنْ مَّوَاضِعِهِ : They pervert the words from their places )5:14(. مَوْضُوعٌ )pass. part. from أَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوْعَةٌ أَوْضَعَ : Goblets properly placed (88:15). He performed his : تَوَضَّأَ بِالْمَاءِ لِلصَّلوةِ . [ وُضُوْءًا inf. noun يَوْضُو aor وَضُو ablution or washed himself with water for Prayer. الْوَضُوْءُ : The water with which is washed for Prayer. وَضَنَ ]aor. يَضِنُ inf noun وَضَنَ الشَّيْءَ [وَضْنًا : He set jewels upon the thing; he folded the thing, entwined it. مَوْضُونَةٌ : Inwrought with gold and jewels (56:16). وَطِيَّ ]aor. يَطَأُ inf. noun وَطِيُّ الشَّيْءَ [وَطْاً : He trod underfoot the thing. وَطِيَّ الْفَرَسَ : He mounted the horse. وَطِيَّ أَرْضَ الْعَدُوِّ : He entered the enemy's land. وَطْاً means of trodding underfoot oneself or subduing oneself )73:7( مَوْطِئًا : The place trod underfoot; a track. وَلَا يَطَؤُنْ مَوْطِئًا : Nor do they tread a track )9:120( وَاطَأَهُ عَلَى الأَمْرِ : He agreed with him respecting the matter. تَوَاطَأَ الْقَوْمُ عَلَى 828
