قرا )the Hereafter) is the home or permanent abode )40:40( أَهْلُ الْقَرَارِ : People living in a town contrary to أَهْلُ الْبَلادِ : Those who have no permanent abode i. e. nomads. قَارُوْرَةٌ )plural( قَوَارِيْرُ( : A flask or bottle or anything in which wine or beverage and the like rests or remains or it is of glass; a kind of vessel of glass; the black of the eye; the part of the eye that is surrounded by the white; a woman or wife; a receptacle for fresh or dried dates. رُوَيْدَكَ رِفْقًا بِالْقَوَارِيْرِ : Go thou gently with the قَوَارِيرًا i. e vessels of glass (76:16). ]aor. يَقْرَأُ inf. noun قَرَأَ الشَّيْءَ قُرْآنٌ : He collected or put or drew together the thing. قَرَاَ الْقُرْآنَ : He collected the Holy Qur'an together. This is the primary signification قَرَاَتِ النَّاقَةُ : The she-camel became pregnant. أَقْرَأَتْ أَوْ قَرَءَ الْمَرْأَةُ : The woman became pure from menstrual discharge and أَقْرَاتِ الْمَرْأَةُ also means, she menstruated. اَقْرَاَتْ also, said of a woman, means she retained the seed of the male in her womb أَقْرَاتِ الرِّيَاحُ : The winds blew . أَقْرَاتِ النَّجُوْمُ : The stars set. قِرْءٌ or 1) : قُرْءٌ( time (this is the primary meaning( )قُرُوْءٌ and أَقْرَاءٌ and أَقْرُؤُ plurals(; )2( menstruation; (3) period of state of purity preceding and following a menstrual discharge i. e. the period between two menstruations; (4) termination of a menstruation. The word is also sometimes applied to the period of menstruation and that of purity taken together i. e. the whole month. It also signifies the time or state when a woman leaves her state of purity and enters that of menstruation. يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنْفُسِهِنَّ ثَلاثَةَ قُرُوْءِ : Shall wait concerning themselves for three courses )2:29( قَرَاَ الْكِتَابَ aor. يَقْرَأَ inf. noun قِرَاءَةٌ and قُرْآنٌ( : He read or recited the book قَرَأْتُ الْقُرْآنَ : I uttered the words of the Holy Qur'an in a state of combination or uninterruptedly. فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ : When thou recitest the Holy Qur'an )16:9( إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ : Surely, upon Us rests its collection and its recital )7:18( قَرَاَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامَ : He conveyed to him the salutation أَقْرَاهُ الْقُرْآنَ : He made him or taught him to read or recite the Qur'an. سَنُقْرِئُكَ : We shall teach thee (the Qur'an( )877( قُرْآنٌ : The Qur'an recital or reading. قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ : Recitation of the Qur'an in the Prayer at dawn 688 قرا قَرَأَ
