شد ]aor. يَشُدُّ and يَشِدُّ inf. noun شَدَّ الرَّجُلُ شَدُّ : The man ran شَدَّ النَّهَارُ : The day advanced. شَدَّ عَضُدَهُ : He strengthened his arm i. e. helped him. سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِاَخِيْكَ : We will strengthen thy arm with thy brother )28:36( شَدَّ عَلَى يَدِهِ : He strengthened him and helped him. شَدَّ الرَّجُلُ )inf. noun شَدَّةٌ(.
