حان from it (4:122). حاض : حَاضَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مَحِيْضٌ and مَحَاضٌ and حَيْضُ inf. noun تَحِيضُ aor] حَاضَتْ The woman menstruated; blood came forth from her womb at the known time and in the known manner, not in consequence of disease nor of childbirth, nor before she had attained to puberty; she attained the age of menstruation. حَاضَ السَّيْلُ : The torrent overflowed. حَيْضٌ : The menstrual blood. حَائِضٌ أَوْ حَائِضَةٌ : A woman who has attained to the age of menstruation or has attained woman-hood. مَحِيْضٌ : Menstruation i. e. monthly course; time of menstruation; place of menstruation. وَالَّتِي يَئِسْنَ مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ : Those who have not attained the age of menstruation or have not had their monthly courses yet )655( يَسْتَلُوْنَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ : They ask thee concerning menstruation )2:223(. حَافَ ]aor يَحِيْفُ inf. noun حَافَ عَلَيْهِ حَيْفٌ : He acted wrongfully, unjustly tyrannically against him; he inclined to that which was wrong or declined from that which was right in his judgement. أَنْ يَحِيْفَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَرَسُوْلُهُ : Allah and His Messenger will be unjust to them (24:51). و حَانَ aor. يَحِيْنُ inf. noun حَيْنٌ and حِيْنٌ[ : It happened. حَانَ الشَّيْءُ : The time of the thing came near حَانَتِ الصَّلُوةُ : The time of the Prayer came or drew near. حَانَ لَهُ أَنْ يَّفْعَلَ : The time has come that he should do such a thing حَانَ الرَّجُلُ )inf. noun حَيْنٌ ( : The man died or perished; he experienced a trying affliction. حِيْنٌ : Time or a space or period of time; anytime; time from the beginning of the world to its end i. q. دَهْرٌ ; a continuous time; an appointed term; time absolutely; the time when an event takes place; time of a glance of the eye; time without end; the Day of Resurrection. هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ حِيْنٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ : There has certainly come upon man a period of time. مَتَّعْنَهُمْ إِلَى حِيْنِ : We gave them provision for a while )1099( عَلَى حِيْنِ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَا : At a time when its inhabitants were in a state of heedlessness (28:26). لَيَسْجُنُنَّهُ حَتَّى حِيْنِ : They should imprison him for a fixed time Brings forth its fruits at all times : تُؤْتِي أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍ (12:36) )14:26( حِيْنَئِذٍ : At that time. وَأَنْتُمْ حِيْنَئِذٍ تَنْظُرُوْنَ : And you are at 213
