اِہۡدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمَ ۙ﴿۶﴾

Guide us in the right path —

صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۬ۙ غَیۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیۡنَ

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy

لَا رَیۡبَ ۚۖۛ فِیۡہِ

there is no doubt in it;

لَا رَیۡبَ ۚۖۛ فِیۡہِ

there is no doubt in it;

اَلَاۤ اِنَّہُمۡ ہُمُ السُّفَہَآءُ

Beware! it is surely they that are foolish

اِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ مُسۡتَہۡزِءُوۡنَ

We are only mocking.

اَللّٰہُ یَسۡتَہۡزِئُ بِہِمۡ وَیَمُدُّہُمۡ

Allah will punish their mockery and will let them continue

فَلَا تَجۡعَلُوۡا لِلّٰہِ اَنۡدَادًا وَّاَنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

Set not up, therefore, equals to Allah, while you know.

ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ لَکُمۡ مَّا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ جَمِیۡعًا

He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth;

قَالُوۡا سُبۡحٰنَکَ لَا عِلۡمَ لَنَاۤ اِلَّا مَا عَلَّمۡتَنَ ؕ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ الۡعَلِیۡمُ الۡحَکِیۡمُ ﴿۳۳﴾

They said: ‘Holy art Thou! No knowledge have we except what Thou hast taught us; surely, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Wise.’

فَاِمَّا یَاۡتِیَنَّکُمۡ مِّنِّیۡ ہُدًی فَمَنۡ تَبِعَ ہُدَایَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ

And if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoso shall follow My guidance, on them shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve.

اَتَاۡمُرُوۡنَ النَّاسَ بِالۡبِرِّ وَتَنۡسَوۡنَ اَنۡفُسَکُمۡ وَاَنۡتُمۡ تَتۡلُوۡنَ الۡکِتٰب ؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۴۵﴾

Do you enjoin others to do what is good and forget your own selves, while you read the Book? Will you not then understand?

اَتَاۡمُرُوۡنَ النَّاسَ بِالۡبِرِّ وَتَنۡسَوۡنَ اَنۡفُسَکُمۡ

Do you enjoin others to do what is good and forget your own selves

وَاَنۡتُمۡ تَتۡلُوۡنَ الۡکِتٰبَ

While you read the Book.

مَا نَنۡسَخۡ مِنۡ اٰیَۃٍ اَوۡ نُنۡسِہَا نَاۡتِ بِخَیۡرٍ مِّنۡہَاۤ اَوۡ مِثۡلِہَا

Whatever Sign We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring one better than that or the like thereof.

اِنَّ ہُدَی اللّٰہِ ہُوَ الۡہُدٰی

Surely, Allah’s guidance alone is the guidance

قُلۡ اِنَّ ہُدَی اللّٰہِ ہُوَ الۡہُدٰی

Say, ‘Surely, Allah’s guidance alone is the guidance.

وَکَذٰلِکَ جَعَلۡنٰکُمۡ اُمَّۃً وَّسَطًا لِّتَکُوۡنُوۡا شُہَدَآءَ عَلَی النَّاسِ وَیَکُوۡنَ الرَّسُوۡلُ عَلَیۡکُمۡ شَہِیۡدًا

And thus have We made you an exalted nation, that you may be guardians over men, and the Messenger of God may be a guardian over you.

قَدۡ نَرٰی تَقَلُّبَ وَجۡہِکَ فِی السَّمَآءِ ۚ فَلَنُوَلِّیَنَّکَ قِبۡلَۃً تَرۡضٰہَا

Verily, We see thee turning thy face often to heaven; surely, then, will We make thee turn to the Qiblah which thou likest.

فَلَنُوَلِّیَنَّکَ قِبۡلَۃً تَرۡضٰہَا

Surely, then, will We make thee turn to the Qiblah which thou likest.

فَلَنُوَلِّیَنَّکَ قِبۡلَۃً تَرۡضٰہَا ۪ فَوَلِّ وَجۡہَکَ شَطۡرَ الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَرَامِ

Surely, then, will We make thee turn to the Qiblah which thou likest. So, turn thy face towards the Sacred Mosque;

فَلَنُوَلِّیَنَّکَ قِبۡلَۃً تَرۡضٰہَا

will We make thee turn to the Qiblah

فَوَلِّ وَجۡہَکَ شَطۡرَ الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَرَامِ

So, turn thy face towards the Sacred Mosque

فَلَا تَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمُمۡتَرِیۡنَ

Be not, therefore, of those who doubt.

اَلۡحَقُّ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ فَلَا تَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمُمۡتَرِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴۸﴾٪

It is the truth from thy Lord; be not therefore of those who doubt.

وَمِنۡ حَیۡثُ خَرَجۡتَ فَوَلِّ وَجۡہَکَ شَطۡرَ الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَرَامِ ؕ وَاِنَّہٗ لَلۡحَقُّ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ

And from wheresoever thou comest forth, turn thy face towards the Sacred Mosque; for that is indeed the truth from thy Lord.

وَیُعَلِّمُکُمۡ مَّا لَمۡ تَکُوۡنُوۡا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

And teaches you that which you did not know.

وَّلٰکِنۡ لَّا تَشۡعُرُوۡنَ

Only you perceive not.

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّکُمۡ بِشَیۡءٍ مِّنَ الۡخَوۡفِ وَالۡجُوۡعِ وَنَقۡصٍ مِّنَ الۡاَمۡوَالِ وَالۡاَنۡفُسِ وَالثَّمَرٰتِ

And We will try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives, and fruits

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّکُمۡ بِشَیۡءٍ مِّنَ الۡخَوۡفِ

And We will try you with something of fear.

وَالَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلّٰہِ

But those who believe are stronger in their love for Allah

ہُدًی لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَیِّنٰتٍ مِّنَ الۡہُدٰی

a guidance for mankind with clear proofs of guidance

ہُدًی لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَیِّنٰتٍ مِّنَ الۡہُدٰی وَالۡفُرۡقَانِ

sent down as a guidance for mankind with clear proofs of guidance and discrimination

وَاِذَا سَاَلَکَ عِبَادِیۡ عَنِّیۡ فَاِنِّیۡ قَرِیۡبٌ ؕ اُجِیۡبُ دَعۡوَۃَ الدَّاعِ اِذَا دَعَانِ ۙ فَلۡیَسۡتَجِیۡبُوۡا لِیۡ وَلۡیُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِیۡ لَعَلَّہُمۡ یَرۡشُدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸۷﴾

And when My servants ask thee about Me, say: ‘I am near. I answer the prayer of the supplicant when he prays to Me. So they should hearken to Me and believe in Me, that they may follow the right way.’

فَاذۡکُرُوا اللّٰہَ کَذِکۡرِکُمۡ اٰبَآءَکُمۡ اَوۡ اَشَدَّ ذِکۡرًا

celebrate the praises of Allah as you celebrated the praises of your fathers, or even more than that.

فَاذۡکُرُوا اللّٰہَ کَذِکۡرِکُمۡ اٰبَآءَکُمۡ اَوۡ اَشَدَّ ذِکۡرًا

celebrate the praises of Allah as you celebrated the praises of your fathers, or even more than that.

وَاللّٰہُ یَہۡدِیۡ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ اِلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِیۡمٍ

And Allah guides whomsoever He pleases to the right path.

فَمَنۡ یَّکۡفُرۡ بِالطَّاغُوۡتِ وَیُؤۡمِنۡۢ بِاللّٰہِ فَقَدِ اسۡتَمۡسَکَ بِالۡعُرۡوَۃِ الۡوُثۡقٰی ٭ لَا انۡفِصَامَ لَہَا ؕ

so whosoever refuses to be led by those who transgress, and believes in Allah, has surely grasped a strong handle which knows no breaking.

یُّؤۡتِی الۡحِکۡمَۃَ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ۚ وَمَنۡ یُّؤۡتَ الۡحِکۡمَۃَ فَقَدۡ اُوۡتِیَ خَیۡرًا کَثِیۡرًا

He grants wisdom to whom He pleases, and whoever is granted wisdom has indeed been granted abundant good

مِمَّنۡ تَرۡضَوۡنَ مِنَ الشُّہَدَآءِ

And call two witnesses from among your men

لَا یُکَلِّفُ اللّٰہُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَہَا ؕ لَہَا مَا کَسَبَتۡ

Allah burdens not any soul beyond its capacity. It shall

لَا یُکَلِّفُ اللّٰہُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَہَا

Allah burdens not any soul beyond its capacity.

وَمَا یَعۡلَمُ تَاۡوِیۡلَہٗۤ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ

And none knows its right interpretation except Allah

ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ مِنۡہُ اٰیٰتٌ مُّحۡکَمٰتٌ ہُنَّ اُمُّ

He it is Who has sent down to thee the

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغۡ قُلُوۡبَنَا بَعۡدَ اِذۡ ہَدَیۡتَنَا وَہَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ لَّدُنۡکَ رَحۡمَۃً ۚ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ الۡوَہَّابُ ﴿۹﴾

‘Our Lord, let not our hearts become perverse after Thou hast guided us; and bestow on us mercy from Thyself; surely, Thou alone art the Bestower.

وَجِیۡہًا فِی الدُّنۡیَا وَالۡاٰخِرَۃِ وَمِنَ الۡمُقَرَّبِیۡنَ

honoured in this world and in the next, and of those who are granted nearness to God;

وَیُکَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِی الۡمَہۡدِ وَکَہۡلًا وَّمِنَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ ﴿۴۷﴾

‘And he shall speak to the people in the cradle and when of middle age, and he shall be of the righteous.’

یُکَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِی الۡمَہۡدِ وَکَہۡلًا

He shall speak to the people in the cradle and when of middle age

وَیُکَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِی الۡمَہۡدِ وَکَہۡلًا

And he shall speak to the people in the cradle and when of middle age

یٰعِیۡسٰۤی اِنِّیۡ مُتَوَفِّیۡکَ وَرَافِعُکَ اِلَیَّ وَمُطَہِّرُکَ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِیۡنَ اتَّبَعُوۡکَ فَوۡقَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ

O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will exalt thee to Myself, and will clear thee from the charges of those who disbelieve, and will place those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection;

یٰعِیۡسٰۤی اِنِّیۡ مُتَوَفِّیۡکَ وَرَافِعُکَ اِلَیَّ

O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will exalt thee to Myself

وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِیۡنَ اتَّبَعُوۡکَ فَوۡقَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ

those who disbelieve, and will place those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection;

وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِیۡنَ اتَّبَعُوۡکَ فَوۡقَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡۤا اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ

And will place those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection

یٰعِیۡسٰۤی اِنِّیۡ مُتَوَفِّیۡکَ وَرَافِعُکَ

O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will exalt thee to Myself

اِنِّیۡ مُتَوَفِّیۡکَ وَرَافِعُکَ

I will cause thee to die a natural death and will exalt thee to Myself,

لَّعۡنَتَ اللّٰہِ عَلَی الۡکٰذِبِیۡنَ

The curse of Allah on those who lie.

وَاِذۡ اَخَذَ اللّٰہُ مِیۡثَاقَ النَّبِیّٖنَ لَمَاۤ اٰتَیۡتُکُمۡ مِّنۡ کِتٰبٍ وَّحِکۡمَۃٍ ثُمَّ جَآءَکُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَکُمۡ لَتُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِہٖ وَلَتَنۡصُرُنَّہٗ ؕ قَالَ ءَاَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ وَاَخَذۡتُمۡ عَلٰی ذٰلِکُمۡ اِصۡرِیۡ ؕ قَالُوۡۤا اَقۡرَرۡنَا ؕ قَالَ فَاشۡہَدُوۡا وَاَنَا مَعَکُمۡ مِّنَ الشّٰہِدِیۡنَ ﴿۸۲﴾

And remember the time when Allah took a covenant from the people through the Prophets, saying: ‘Whatever I give you of the Book and Wisdom and then there comes to you a Messenger, fulfilling that which is with you, you shall believe in him and help him.’ And He said: ‘Do you agree, and do you accept the responsibility which I lay upon you in this matter?’ They said, ‘We agree;’ He said, ‘Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.’

لَتُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِہٖ وَلَتَنۡصُرُنَّہٗ

Do you agree, and do you accept the responsibility

فَمَنۡ تَوَلّٰی بَعۡدَ ذٰلِکَ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ ﴿۸۳﴾

Now whoso turns away after this, then, surely, those are the transgressors.

فَمَنۡ تَوَلّٰی بَعۡدَ ذٰلِکَ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ ﴿۸۳﴾

Now whoso turns away after this, then, surely, those are the transgressors.

وَشَہِدُوۡۤا اَنَّ الرَّسُوۡلَ حَقٌّ وَّجَآءَہُمُ الۡبَیِّنٰتُ

{They} had borne witness that the Messenger was true and to whom clear proofs had come

لَنۡ تَنَالُوا الۡبِرَّ حَتّٰی تُنۡفِقُوۡا مِمَّا تُحِبُّوۡنَ

Never shall you attain to righteousness unless you spend out of that which you love;

وَاعۡتَصِمُوۡا بِحَبۡلِ اللّٰہِ جَمِیۡعًا

And hold fast, all together, by the rope of Allah.

وَاعۡتَصِمُوۡا بِحَبۡلِ اللّٰہِ جَمِیۡعًا وَّلَا تَفَرَّقُوۡ

And hold fast, all together, by the rope of Allah and be not divided.

ہٰذَا بَیَانٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَہُدًی وَّمَوۡعِظَۃٌ لِّلۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ ﴿۱۳۹﴾

This (the Qur’an) is a clear demonstration to men, and a guidance and an admonition to the Godfearing.

وَلَا تَہِنُوۡا وَلَا تَحۡزَنُوۡا وَاَنۡتُمُ الۡاَعۡلَوۡنَ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴۰﴾

Slacken not, nor grieve; and you shall certainly have the upper hand, if you are believers.

وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ اِلَّا رَسُوۡلٌ ۚ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِ الرُّسُلُ ؕ اَفَا۠ئِنۡ مَّاتَ اَوۡ قُتِلَ انۡقَلَبۡتُمۡ عَلٰۤی اَعۡقَابِکُمۡ

And Muhammad is only a Messenger. Verily, all Messengers have passed away before him. If then he die or be slain, will you turn back on your heels?

کَثِیۡرًا

many

لَتُبۡلَوُنَّ فِیۡۤ اَمۡوَالِکُمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِکُمۡ ۟ وَلَتَسۡمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ

You shall surely be tried in your possessions and in your persons and you shall surely hear many hurtful things from those who were given the Book.

وَاِذۡ اَخَذَ اللّٰہُ مِیۡثَاقَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ لَتُبَیِّنُنَّہٗ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَکۡتُمُوۡنَہٗ

And remember when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Book, saying, ‘You shall make this Book known to the people and not conceal it.'

لَتُبَیِّنُنَّہٗ لِلنَّاسِ

You shall make this Book known to the people

فَالَّذِیۡنَ ہَاجَرُوۡا وَاُخۡرِجُوۡا مِنۡ دِیَارِہِمۡ وَاُوۡذُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِیۡ وَقٰتَلُوۡا وَقُتِلُوۡا لَاُکَفِّرَنَّ عَنۡہُمۡ سَیّاٰتِہِمۡ وَلَاُدۡخِلَنَّہُمۡ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہَا الۡاَنۡہٰرُ

Those, therefore, who have emigrated, and have been driven out from their homes, and have been persecuted in My cause, and have fought and been killed, I will surely remove from them their evils and will cause them to enter Gardens through which streams flow

وَلَاُدۡخِلَنَّہُمۡ

And {I} will cause them to enter.

اُحِلَّ لَکُمۡ مَّا وَرَآءَ ذٰلِکُمۡ

Allowed to you are those beyond that

فَلَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ اِلَّا قَلِیۡلً

So they believe but little.

تُؤَدُّوا الۡاَمٰنٰتِ اِلٰۤی اَہۡلِہَا ۙ

make over the trusts to those entitled to them

فَاِنۡ تَنَازَعۡتُمۡ فِیۡ شَیۡءٍ فَرُدُّوۡہُ اِلَی اللّٰہِ وَالرَّسُوۡلِ

And if you differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger

مِّنَ النَّبِیّٖنَ وَالصِّدِّیۡقِیۡنَ وَالشُّہَدَآءِ وَالصّٰلِحِیۡنَ

namely, the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous.

وَلَوۡ کَانَ مِنۡ عِنۡدِ غَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ لَوَجَدُوۡا فِیۡہِ اخۡتِلَافًا کَثِیۡرًا

Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much disagreement

کَانَ مِنۡ عِنۡدِ غَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ لَوَجَدوۡا فِیۡہِ اخۡتِلَافًا کَثِیۡرًا

from anyone other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much disagreement

وَلَوۡ کَانَ مِنۡ عِنۡدِ غَیۡرِ اللّٰہِ لَوَجَدُوۡ فِیۡہِ اخۡتِلَافًا کَثِیۡرًا

Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much disagreement.

لَعَلِمَہُ الَّذِیۡنَ یَسۡتَنۡۢبِطُوۡنَہٗ

those of them, who can elicit the truth from it

لَیَجۡمَعَنَّکُمۡ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ

He will certainly continue to assemble you till the Day of Resurrection

وَاَنۡزَلَ اللّٰہُ عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ وَالۡحِکۡمَۃَ وَعَلَّمَکَ مَا لَمۡ تَکُنۡ تَعۡلَمُ ؕ وَکَانَ فَضۡلُ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡکَ عَظِیۡمًا

Allah has sent down to thee the Book and Wisdom and has taught thee what thou knewest not, and great is Allah’s grace on thee.

وَّلَاُضِلَّنَّہُمۡ وَلَاُمَنِّیَنَّہُمۡ وَلَاٰمُرَنَّہُمۡ فَلَیُبَتِّکُنَّ اٰذَانَ الۡاَنۡعَامِ وَلَاٰمُرَنَّہُمۡ فَلَیُغَیِّرُنَّ خَلۡقَ اللّٰہِ

‘And assuredly I will lead them astray and assuredly I will excite in them vain desires, and assuredly I will incite them and they will cut the ears of cattle; and assuredly I will incite them and they will alter Allah’s creation.'

وَّلَاُضِلَّنَّہُمۡ

And assuredly I will lead them astray

لَنۡ یَّجۡعَلَ اللّٰہُ لِلۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ عَلَی الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ سَبِیۡلًا

Allah will not grant the disbelievers a way to prevail against the believers.

لَا یُحِبُّ اللّٰہُ الۡجَہۡرَ بِالسُّوۡٓءِ

Allah likes not the uttering of unseemly speech in public

وَمَا قَتَلُوۡہُ یَقِیۡنًۢا

And they did not convert this conjecture into a certainty;

وَمَا قَتَلُوۡہُ یَقِیۡنًۢا

and they did not convert this conjecture into a certainty;

مَا قَتَلُوۡہُ وَمَا صَلَبُوۡہُ

They slew him not, nor crucified him

وَّقَوۡلِہِمۡ اِنَّا قَتَلۡنَا الۡمَسِیۡحَ عِیۡسَی ابۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ رَسُوۡلَ اللّٰہِ

And their saying, ‘We did kill the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.'

مَا قَتَلُوۡہُ وَمَا صَلَبُوۡہُ

they slew him not, nor crucified him

اِنَّا قَتَلۡنَا الۡمَسِیۡحَ عِیۡسَی ابۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ رَسُوۡلَ اللّٰہِ

We did kill the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah;

بَلۡ رَّفَعَہُ اللّٰہُ اِلَیۡہِ ؕ وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ عَزِیۡزًا حَکِیۡمًا ﴿۱۵۹﴾

On the contrary, Allah exalted him to Himself. And Allah is Mighty, Wise.

بَلۡ رَّفَعَہُ اللّٰہُ اِلَیۡہِ ؕ وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ عَزِیۡزًا حَکِیۡمًا ﴿۱۵۹﴾

On the contrary, Allah exalted him to Himself. And Allah is Mighty, Wise.

بَلۡ رَّفَعَہُ اللّٰہُ اِلَیۡہِ ؕ وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ عَزِیۡزًا حَکِیۡمًا ﴿۱۵۹﴾

On the contrary, Allah exalted him to Himself. And Allah

بَلۡ رَّفَعَہُ اللّٰہُ اِلَیۡہِ

Allah exalted him to Himself

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِہٖ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِہ ۚ وَیَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ یَکُوۡنُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ شَہِیۡدًا ﴿۱۶۰﴾ۚ

And there is none among the People of the Book but will believe in it before his death; and on the Day of Resurrection, he (Jesus) shall be a witness against them.

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِہٖ

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِہٖ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِہٖ

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ

And there is none among the People of the Book

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِہٖ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِہ ۚ وَیَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ یَکُوۡنُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ شَہِیۡدًا ﴿۱۶۰﴾ۚ

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِہٖ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِہٖ

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِہٖ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِہ

وَیَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ یَکُوۡنُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ شَہِیۡدًا

لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِہٖ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِہٖ

will believe in it before his death

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِہٖ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِہٖ

And there is none among the People of the Book but will believe in it before his death

وَالۡمُقِیۡمِیۡنَ الصَّلٰوۃَ وَالۡمُؤۡتُوۡنَ الزَّکٰوۃَ

Those who observe Prayer and those who pay the Zakat

وَالۡمُقِیۡمِیۡنَ الصَّلٰوۃَ

Those who observe Prayer

وَلَا تَقُوۡلُوۡا ثَلٰثَۃٌ ؕ اِنۡتَہُوۡا خَیۡرًا لَّکُمۡ

And say not ‘They are three.’ Desist, it will be better for you.

اَلۡیَوۡمَ اَکۡمَلۡتُ لَکُمۡ دِیۡنَکُمۡ

This day have I perfected your religion for you

اَلۡیَوۡمَ اَکۡمَلۡتُ لَکُمۡ دِیۡنَکُمۡ

This day have I perfected your religion for you

یُحَرِّفُوۡنَ الۡکَلِمَ عَنۡ مَّوَاضِعِہٖ

who pervert words from their proper places

فَاَغۡرَیۡنَا بَیۡنَہُمُ الۡعَدَاوَۃَ وَالۡبَغۡضَآءَ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ

So We have caused enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection.

وَمِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا نَصٰرٰۤی اَخَذۡنَا مِیۡثَاقَہُمۡ فَنَسُوۡا حَظًّا مِّمَّا

And from those also who say, ‘We are Christians,’ We

وَمِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا نَصٰرٰۤی اَخَذۡنَا مِیۡثَاقَہُمۡ فَنَسُوۡا حَظًّا مِّمَّا

And from those also who say, ‘We are Christians,’ We

فَاَغۡرَیۡنَا بَیۡنَہُمُ الۡعَدَاوَۃَ وَالۡبَغۡضَآءَ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ

So We have caused enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection

فَاَغۡرَیۡنَا بَیۡنَہُمُ الۡعَدَاوَۃَ وَالۡبَغۡضَآءَ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ

So We have caused enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection.

یَّہۡدِیۡ بِہِ اللّٰہُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضۡوَانَہٗ سُبُلَ السَّلٰمِ وَیُخۡرِجُہُمۡ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَی النُّوۡرِ بِاِذۡنِہٖ وَیَہۡدِیۡہِمۡ اِلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِیۡمٍ ﴿۱۷﴾

Thereby does Allah guide those who seek His pleasure on the paths of peace, and leads them out of every kind of darkness into light by His will, and guides them to the right path.

یَّہۡدِیۡ بِہِ اللّٰہُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضۡوَانَہٗ سُبُلَ السَّلٰمِ وَیُخۡرِجُہُمۡ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَی النُّوۡرِ

Thereby does Allah guide those who seek His pleasure on the paths of peace, and leads them out of every kind of darkness into light

فَسَوۡفَ یَاۡتِی اللّٰہُ بِقَوۡمٍ یُّحِبُّہُمۡ وَیُحِبُّوۡنَہٗۤ ۙ اَذِلَّۃٍ عَلَی الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ اَعِزَّۃٍ عَلَی الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ ۫

Allah will soon bring a people whom He will love and who will love Him, and who will be kind and humble towards believers, hard and firm against disbelievers.

وَالصّٰبِـُٔوۡنَ

and the Sabians

لَتَجِدَنَّ اَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَۃً لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا الۡیَہُوۡدَ وَالَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡا ۚ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ اَقۡرَبَہُمۡ مَّوَدَّۃً لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا نَصٰرٰی

Thou shalt certainly find the Jews and those who associate partners with God to be the most vehement of men in enmity against the believers. And thou shalt assuredly find those who say, ‘We are Christians,’ to be the nearest of them in love to the believers.

لَتَجِدَنَّ

Thou shalt certainly find

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَیَبۡلُوَنَّکُمُ اللّٰہُ بِشَیۡءٍ مِّنَ الصَّیۡدِ

O ye who believe! Allah will surely try you in a little matter: the game {which your hands and your lances can reach}.

لَیَبۡلُوَنَّکُمُ اللّٰہُ

Allah will surely try you

تُکَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِی الۡمَہۡدِ وَکَہۡلًا ۚ

thou didst speak to the people in the cradle and in middle age

وَاِذۡ قَالَ اللّٰہُ یٰعِیۡسَی ابۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ ءَاَنۡتَ قُلۡتَ لِلنَّاسِ

And when Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary, didst thou say to men,

وَکُنۡتُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ شَہِیۡدًا مَّا دُمۡتُ فِیۡہِمۡ

And I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them

لَیَجۡمَعَنَّکُمۡ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ

He will certainly continue to assemble you till the Day of Resurrection.

یَعۡرِفُونَہٗ کَمَا یَعۡرِفُوۡنَ اَبۡنَآءَہُمۡ

{They} recognize him as they recognize their sons.

وَاِنۡ یَّرَوۡا کُلَّ اٰیَۃٍ لَّا یُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِہَا ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءُوۡکَ یُجَادِلُوۡنَکَ

f they see every Sign, they would not believe therein, so much so, that when they come to thee, disputing with thee,

مَا فَرَّطۡنَا فِی الۡکِتٰبِ مِنۡ شَیۡءٍ

We have left out nothing in the Book.

قُلۡ اِنِّیۡ عَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّیۡ

Say: ‘I take my stand on a clear evidence from my Lord

قُلۡ اِنِّیۡ عَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّیۡ وَکَذَّبۡتُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ مَا عِنۡدِیۡ مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ بِہٖ ؕ اِنِ الۡحُکۡمُ اِلَّا لِلّٰہِ ؕ یَقُصُّ الۡحَقَّ وَہُوَ خَیۡرُ الۡفٰصِلِیۡنَ ﴿۵۸﴾

Say: ‘I take my stand on a clear evidence from my Lord and you reject it. That which you desire to be hastened is not in my power. The decision rests with none but Allah. He explains the truth, and He is Best of judges.’

لَا رَطۡبٍ وَّلَا یَابِسٍ اِلَّا فِیۡ کِتٰبٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ

Nor anything green or dry, but is recorded in a clear Book.

لَا رَطۡبٍ وَّلَا یَابِسٍ اِلَّا فِیۡ کِتٰبٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ

Nor anything green or dry, but is recorded in a clear Book.

لَا رَطۡبٍ وَّلَا یَابِسٍ اِلَّا فِیۡ کِتٰبٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ

Nor anything green or dry, but is recorded in a clear Book.

الَّذِیۡ یَتَوَفّٰٮکُمۡ بِالَّیۡلِ وَیَعۡلَمُ مَا جَرَحۡتُمۡ بِالنَّہَارِ ثُمَّ یَبۡعَثُکُمۡ فِیۡہِ لِیُقۡضٰۤی اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّی

He it is Who takes your souls by night and knows that which you do by day; then He raises you up again therein, that the appointed term may be completed.

وَہُوَ الَّذِیۡ یَتَوَفّٰٮکُمۡ بِالَّیۡلِ وَیَعۡلَمُ مَا جَرَحۡتُمۡ بِالنَّہَارِ ثُمَّ یَبۡعَثُکُمۡ فِیۡہِ لِیُقۡضٰۤی اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّی

And He it is Who takes your souls by night and knows that which you do by day; then He raises you up again therein, that the appointed term may be completed.

قُلۡ ہُوَ الۡقَادِرُ عَلٰۤی اَنۡ یَّبۡعَثَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ عَذَابًا مِّنۡ فَوۡقِکُمۡ اَوۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِ اَرۡجُلِکُمۡ اَوۡ یَلۡبِسَکُمۡ شِیَعًا وَّیُذِیۡقَ بَعۡضَکُمۡ بَاۡسَ بَعۡضٍ

Say, ‘He has power to send punishment upon you from above you or from beneath your feet, or to confound you by splitting you into sects and make you taste the violence of one another.’

قَدۡ جَآءَکُمۡ بَصَآئِرُ مِنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ ۚ فَمَنۡ اَبۡصَرَ فَلِنَفۡسِہٖ ۚ وَمَنۡ عَمِیَ فَعَلَیۡہَا ؕ وَمَاۤ اَنَا عَلَیۡکُمۡ بِحَفِیۡظٍ ﴿۱۰۵﴾

Proofs have indeed come to you from your Lord; so whoever sees, it is for his own good; and whoever becomes blind, it is to his own harm. And I am not a guardian over you.

وَنُقَلِّبُ اَفۡـِٕدَتَہُمۡ وَاَبۡصَارَہُمۡ کَمَا لَمۡ یُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِہٖۤ اَوَّلَ مَرَّۃٍ وَّنَذَرُہُمۡ

And We shall confound their hearts and their eyes, as

کَمَا لَمۡ یُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِہٖۤ اَوَّلَ مَرَّۃٍ

as they believed not therein at the first time

اَفَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ اَبۡتَغِیۡ حَکَمًا وَّہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ اِلَیۡکُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ مُفَصَّلًا ؕ وَالَّذِیۡنَ اٰتَیۡنٰہُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ اَنَّہٗ مُنَزَّلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّکَ بِالۡحَقِّ فَلَا تَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمُمۡتَرِیۡنَ ﴿۱۱۵﴾

Shall I seek for judge other than Allah, when He it is Who has sent down to you the Book, clearly explained? And those to whom We gave the Book know that it has been sent down from thy Lord with truth; so be thou not of those who doubt.

اَفَغَیۡرَ اللّٰہِ اَبۡتَغِیۡ حَکَمًا

Shall I seek for judge other than Allah?

وَاِذَا جَآءَتۡہُمۡ اٰیَۃٌ قَالُوۡا لَنۡ نُّؤۡمِنَ حَتّٰی نُؤۡتٰی مِثۡلَ مَاۤ اُوۡتِیَ رُسُلُ اللّٰہِ ؕۘؔ اَللّٰہُ اَعۡلَمُ حَیۡثُ یَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَہٗ

And when there comes to them a Sign, they say, ‘We will not believe until we are given the like of that which Allah’s Messengers have been given.’ Allah knows best where to place His Message.

اعۡمَلُوۡا عَلٰی مَکَانَتِکُمۡ اِنِّیۡ عَامِلٌ

Act as best you can. I, too, am acting.

قُلۡ لَّاۤ اَجِدُ فِیۡ مَاۤ اُوۡحِیَ اِلَیَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلٰی طَاعِمٍ یَّطۡعَمُہٗۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّکُوۡنَ مَیۡتَۃً اَوۡ دَمًا مَّسۡفُوۡحًا

Say, ‘I find not in what has been revealed to me aught forbidden to an eater who wishes to eat it, except it be that which dies of itself, or blood poured forth, …'

قُلۡ لَّاۤ اَجِدُ فِیۡ مَاۤ اُوۡحِیَ اِلَیَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلٰی طَاعِمٍ یَّطۡعَمُہٗۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ یَّکُوۡنَ مَیۡتَۃً اَوۡ دَمًا مَّسۡفُوۡحًا

وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اَوۡلِیَآءَ

and follow no protectors other than Him.

فَلَنَسۡـَٔلَنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ اُرۡسِلَ اِلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَنَسۡـَٔلَنَّ الۡمُرۡسَلِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۷﴾

And We will certainly question those to whom the Messengers were sent, and We will certainly question the Messengers.

فَلَنَسۡـَٔلَنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ

And We will certainly question those

فَلَنَقُصَّنَّ عَلَیۡہِمۡ

Then will We certainly relate to them their deeds

قَدۡ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡکُمۡ لِبَاسًا

We have indeed sent down to you raiment

لَا تُفَتَّحُ لَہُمۡ اَبۡوَابُ السَّمَآءِ

the gates of the spiritual firmament will not be opened for them

وَلَقَدۡ جِئۡنٰہُمۡ بِکِتٰبٍ فَصَّلۡنٰہُ عَلٰی عِلۡمٍ ہُدًی َّرَحۡمَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۵۳﴾

And surely We have brought them a Book which We have expounded with knowledge, a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.

فَصَّلۡنٰہُ عَلٰی عِلۡمٍ

which We have expounded with knowledge

یَوۡمَ یَاۡتِیۡ تَاۡوِیۡلُہٗ

On the day when the fulfilment thereof shall come

رَبَّنَا افۡتَحۡ بَیۡنَنَا وَبَیۡنَ قَوۡمِنَا بِالۡحَقِّ وَاَنۡتَ خَیۡرُ الۡفٰتِحِیۡنَ

O our Lord, decide Thou between us and between our people with truth, and Thou art the Best of those who decide.

لَاُقَطِّعَنَّ اَیۡدِیَکُمۡ وَاَرۡجُلَکُمۡ مِّنۡ خِلَافٍ ثُمَّ لَاُصَلِّبَنَّکُمۡ

‘Most surely will I cut off your hands and your feet on alternate sides. Then will I surely crucify you.'

لَاُقَطِّعَنَّ اَیۡدِیَکُمۡ وَاَرۡجُلَکُمۡ

Most surely will I cut off your hands and your feet {on alternate sides}.

وَاِذۡ تَاَذَّنَ رَبُّکَ لَیَبۡعَثَنَّ عَلَیۡہِمۡ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ مَنۡ یَّسُوۡمُہُمۡ سُوۡٓءَ الۡعَذَابِ

And remember the time when thy Lord proclaimed that He would truly raise against them, till the Day of Resurrection, those who would afflict them with grievous torment.

وَاِذۡ تَاَذَّنَ رَبُّکَ لَیَبۡعَثَنَّ عَلَیۡہِمۡ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ

And remember the time when thy Lord proclaimed that He would truly raise against them, till the Day of Resurrection

اَخۡلَدَ اِلَی الۡاَرۡضِ

He inclined to the earth.

فَبِاَیِّ حَدِیۡثٍۭ بَعۡدَہٗ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ

Then in what thing will they believe thereafter?

فَبِاَیِّ حَدِیۡثٍۭ بَعۡدَہٗ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ

Then in what thing will they believe thereafter?

وَمَا رَمَیۡتَ اِذۡ رَمَیۡتَ وَلٰکِنَّ اللّٰہَ رَمٰی

And thou threwest not when thou didst throw, but it was Allah Who threw.

فَلَمۡ تَقۡتُلُوۡہُمۡ وَلٰکِنَّ اللّٰہَ قَتَلَہُمۡ

So you killed them not, but it was Allah Who killed them.

فَلَمۡ تَقۡتُلُوۡہُمۡ وَلٰکِنَّ اللّٰہَ قَتَلَہُمۡ

So you killed them not, but it was Allah Who killed them.

حَتّٰی یُعۡطُوا الۡجِزۡیَۃَ عَنۡ ‌یَّدٍ

until they pay the tax with their own hand

وَقَالَتِ الۡیَہُوۡدُ عُزَیۡرُ ۣابۡنُ اللّٰہِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصٰرَی الۡمَسِیۡحُ ابۡنُ اللّٰہِ

And the Jews say, Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say, the Messiah is the son of Allah

ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی وَدِیۡنِ الۡحَِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ

He it is Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may make it prevail over every other religion.

وَیَسۡتَنۡۢبِئُوۡنَکَ اَحَقٌّ ہُوَ ؕؔ قُلۡ اِیۡ وَرَبِّیۡۤ اِنَّہٗ لَحَقٌّ ۚؕؔ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ بِمُعۡجِزِیۡنَ ﴿٪۵۴﴾

And they enquire of thee, ‘Is it true?’ Say, ‘Yea, by my Lord! It is most surely true; and you cannot frustrate it.’

شِفَآءٌ لِّمَا فِی الصُّدُوۡرِ

Cure for whatever disease there is in the hearts.

اَلَاۤ اِنَّ اَوۡلِیَآءَ اللّٰہِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ ﴿ۚۖ۶۳﴾

Behold! the friends of Allah shall certainly have no fear, nor shall they grieve —

الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَکَانُوۡا یَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۶۴﴾

Those who believed and kept to righteousness —

لَہُمُ الۡبُشۡرٰی فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ؕ لَا تَبۡدِیۡلَ لِکَلِمٰتِ اللّٰہِ ؕ ذٰلِکَ ہُوَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِیۡمُ ﴿ؕ۶۵﴾

For them are glad tidings in the present life and also in the Hereafter — there is no changing the words of Allah; that indeed is the supreme triumph.

لَہُمُ الۡبُشۡرٰی فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ؕ لَا تَبۡدِیۡلَ لِکَلِمٰتِ اللّٰہِ ؕ ذٰلِکَ ہُوَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِیۡمُ ﴿ؕ۶۵﴾

For them are glad tidings in the present life and also in the Hereafter — there is no changing the words of Allah; that indeed is the supreme triumph.

اِنۡ یَّـتَّبِعُوۡنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَاِنۡ ہُمۡ اِلَّا یَخۡرُصُوۡنَ

they follow only a conjecture, and they do nothing but guess.

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّکَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً وَّلَا یَزَالُوۡنَ مُخۡتَلِفِیۡنَ

And if thy Lord had enforced His will, He would

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّکَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً وَّلَا یَزَالُوۡنَ مُخۡتَلِفِیۡنَ

And if thy Lord had enforced His will, He would

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّکَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً وَّلَا یَزَالُوۡنَ مُخۡتَلِفِیۡنَ ﴿۱۱۹﴾ۙ

And if thy Lord had enforced His will, He would have surely made mankind one people; but they would not cease to differ,

اِلَّا مَنۡ رَّحِمَ رَبُّکَ ؕ وَلِذٰلِکَ خَلَقَہُمۡ ؕ وَتَمَّتۡ کَلِمَۃُ

Save those on whom thy Lord has had mercy, and

اِلَّ مَنۡ رَّحِمَ رَبُّکَ ؕ وَلِذٰلِکَ خَلَقَہُمۡ ؕ وَتَمَّتۡ کَلِمَۃُ رَبِّکَ لَاَمۡلَـَٔنَّ جَہَنَّمَ مِنَ الۡجِنَّۃِ وَالنَّاسِ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿۱۲۰﴾

Save those on whom thy Lord has had mercy, and for this has He created them. But the word of thy Lord shall be fulfilled: ‘Verily, I will fill Hell with the disobedient Jinn and men all together.’

اِلّا مَنۡ رَّحِمَ رَبُّکَ ؕ وَلِذٰلِکَ خَلَقَہُمۡ ؕ وَتَمَّتۡ کَلِمَۃُ رَبِّکَ لَاَمۡلَـَٔنَّ جَہَنَّمَ مِنَ الۡجِنَّۃِ وَالنَّاسِ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿۱۲۰﴾

Save those on whom thy Lord has had mercy, and for this has He created them. But the word of thy Lord shall be fulfilled: ‘Verily, I will fill Hell with the disobedient Jinn and men all together.’

لَا تَایۡـَٔسُوۡا مِنۡ رَّوۡحِ اللّٰہِ

despair not of the mercy of Allah;

وَمَاۤ اَکۡثَرُ النَّاسِ وَلَوۡ حَرَصۡتَ بِمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۴﴾

And most men will not believe even though thou eagerly desire it.

قُلۡ ہٰذِہٖ سَبِیۡلِیۡۤ اَدۡعُوۡۤا اِلَی اللّٰہِ ۟ؔ عَلٰی بَصِیۡرَۃٍ

Say, ‘This is my way: I call unto Allah on sure knowledge.'

مَا کَانَ حَدِیۡثًا یُّفۡتَرٰی

It is not a thing that has been forged

اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَسَالَتۡ اَوۡدِیَۃٌۢ بِقَدَرِہَا

He sends down water from the sky, so that valleys flow according to their measure

اَلَا بِذِکۡرِ اللّٰہِ تَطۡمَئِنُّ الۡقُلُوۡبُ

Aye! it is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts can find comfort;

وَلَنَصۡبِرَنَّ عَلٰی مَاۤ اٰذَیۡتُمُوۡنَا

And we will, surely, bear with patience all the harm you do us

وَلَنَصۡبِرَنَّ عَلٰی مَاۤ اٰذَیۡتُمُوۡنَا

And we will, surely, bear with patience all the harm you do us

وَقَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لِرُسُلِہِمۡ لَنُخۡرِجَنَّکُمۡ مِّنۡ اَرۡضِنَاۤ اَوۡ لَتَعُوۡدُنَّ فِیۡ مِلَّتِنَا ؕ فَاَوۡحٰۤی اِلَیۡہِمۡ رَبُّہُمۡ لَنُہۡلِکَنَّ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۴﴾

And those who disbelieved said to their Messengers, ‘We will, surely, expel you from our land unless you return to our religion.’ Then their Lord sent unto them the revelation: ‘We will, surely, destroy the wrongdoers.

وَقَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لِرُسُلِہِمۡ لَنُخۡرِجَنَّکُمۡ مِّنۡ اَرۡضِنَاۤ

And those who disbelieved said to their Messengers, ‘We will, surely, expel you from our land

وَلَنُسۡکِنَنَّـکُمُ الۡاَرۡضَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہِمۡ

And We will, surely, make you dwell in the land after them

اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا الذِّکۡرَ وَاِنَّا لَہٗ لَحٰفِظُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰﴾

Verily, We Ourself have sent down this Exhortation, and most surely We will be its Guardian.

اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا الذِّکۡرَ وَاِنَّا لَہٗ لَحٰفِظُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰﴾

Verily, We Ourself have sent down this Exhortation, and most surely We will be its Guardian.

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ شَیۡءٍ اِلَّا عِنۡدَنَا خَزَآئِنُہٗ ۫ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُہٗۤ اِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٍ ﴿۲۲﴾

And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures thereof and We send it not down except in a known measure.

اِلَّا عِبَادَکَ مِنۡہُمُ الۡمُخۡلَصِیۡنَ ﴿۴۱﴾

‘Except Thy chosen servants from among them.’

وَمَۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ اِلَّا لِتُبَیِّنَ لَہُمُ الَّذِی اخۡتَلَفُوۡا فِیۡہِ ۙ وَہُدًی وَّرَحۡمَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۶۵﴾

And We have not sent down to thee the Book except that thou mayest explain to them that concerning which they differ, and as a guidance, and a mercy for a people who believe.

اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَحَۡا بِہِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِہَا

Allah has sent down water from the sky, and has quickened therewith the earth after its death

تِبۡیَانًا لِّکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ

To explain everything

وَنَزَّلۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ تِبۡیَانًا لِّکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ

And We have sent down to thee the Book to explain everything

وَلَیُبَیِّنَنَّ لَکُمۡ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ مَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡہِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ

Surely, Allah tries you therewith, and on the Day of Resurrection He will make clear to you that wherein you differed.

وَلَیُبَیِّنَنَّ لَکُمۡ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ مَا کُنۡتُمۡ فِیۡہِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ

And on the Day of Resurrection He will make clear to you that wherein you differed.

وَلَا تَکُوۡنُوۡا کَالَّتِیۡ نَقَضَتۡ غَزۡلَہَا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّۃٍ اَنۡکَاثًا

And be not like unto her who, after having made it strong, breaks her yarn into pieces

وَلَا تَکُوۡنُوۡا کَالَّتِیۡ نَقَضَتۡ غَزۡلَہَا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّۃٍ اَنۡکَاثًا

And be not like unto her who, after having made it strong, breaks her yarn into pieces

وَلَا تَکُوۡنُوۡا کَالَّتِیۡ نَقَضَتۡ غَزۡلَہَا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّۃٍ اَنۡکَاثًا

And be not like unto her who, after having made it strong, breaks her yarn into pieces

وَلَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡ

and you shall surely be questioned concerning that which you have been doing

وَلَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ

and you shall surely be questioned concerning that which you have been doing

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰہُ لَجَعَلَکُمۡ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً وَّلٰکِنۡ یُّضِلُّ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ

And if Allah had enforced His will, He would surely

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّنۡ ذَکَرٍ اَوۡ اُنۡثٰی وَہُوَ مُؤۡمِنٌ فَلَنُحۡیِیَنَّہٗ حَیٰوۃً طَیِّبَۃً ۚ وَلَنَجۡزِیَنَّہُمۡ

Whoso acts righteously, whether male or female, and is a believer, We will surely grant him a pure life

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّنۡ ذَکَرٍ اَوۡ اُنۡثٰی وَہُوَ مُؤۡمِنٌ فَلَنُحۡیِیَنَّہٗ حَیٰوۃً طَیِّبَۃً ۚ وَلَنَجۡزِیَنَّہُمۡ اَجۡرَہُمۡ بِاَحۡسَنِ مَا کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۹۸﴾

Whoso acts righteously, whether male or female, and is a believer, We will surely grant him a pure life; and We will surely bestow on such their reward according to the best of their works.

فَلَنُحۡیِیَنَّہٗ حَیٰوۃً طَیِّبَۃً ۚ وَلَنَجۡزِیَنَّہُمۡ اَجۡرَہُمۡ

We will surely grant him a pure life; and We will surely bestow on such their reward.

فَلَنُحۡیِیَنَّہٗ حَیٰوۃً طَیِّبَۃً ۚ وَلَنَجۡزِیَنَّہُمۡ اَجۡرَہُمۡ

We will surely grant him a pure life; and We will surely bestow on such their reward

قُلۡ نَزَّلَہٗ رُوۡحُ الۡقُدُسِ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ بِالۡحَقِّ لِیُـثَبِّتَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَہُدًی وَّبُشۡرٰی لِلۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۳﴾

Say, ‘The Spirit of holiness has brought it down from thy Lord with truth, that He may strengthen those who believe, and as a guidance and glad tidings for Muslims.’

قُلۡ نَزَّلَہٗ رُوۡحُ الۡقُدسِ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ بِالۡحَقِّ لِیُـثَبِّتَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَہُدًی وَّبُشۡرٰی لِلۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۳﴾

Say, ‘The Spirit of holiness has brought it down from thy Lord with truth, that He may strengthen those who believe, and as a guidance and glad tidings for Muslims.’

وَقَضَیۡنَاۤ اِلٰی بَنِیۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِیۡلَ فِی الۡکِتٰبِ لَتُفۡسِدُنَّ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ مَرَّتَیۡنِ وَلَتَعۡلُنَّ عُلُوًّا کَبِیۡرًا ﴿۵﴾

And We revealed to the children of Israel in the Book, saying, ‘You will surely do mischief in the land twice, and you will surely become excessively overbearing.’

وَقَضَیۡنَاۤ اِلٰی بَنِیۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِیۡلَ فِی الۡکِتٰبِ لَتُفۡسِدُنَّ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ مَرَّتَیۡنِ وَلَتَعۡلُنَّ عُلُوًّا کَبِیۡرًا ﴿۵﴾

And We revealed to the children of Israel in the Book, saying, ‘You will surely do mischief in the land twice, and you will surely become excessively overbearing.’

اِنَّ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنَ یَہۡدِیۡ للَّتِیۡ ہِیَ اَقۡوَمُ

Surely, this Qur’an guides to what is most right

لَا تَجۡعَلۡ مَعَ اللّٰہِ اِلٰـہًا اٰخَرَ فَتَقۡعُدَ مَذۡمُوۡمًا مَّخۡذُوۡلًا ﴿٪۲۳﴾

Set not up with Allah another God lest thou sit down disgraced and forsaken.

وَقَضٰی رَبُّکَ اَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوۡۤا اِلَّاۤ اِیَّاہُ وَبِالۡوَالِدَیۡنِ

Thy Lord has commanded, “Worship none but Him, and show kindness to parents

اِحۡسَانًا ؕ اِمَّا یَبۡلُغَنَّ عِنۡدَکَ الۡکِبَرَ اَحَدُہُمَاۤ اَوۡ کِلٰہُمَا فَلَا تَقُلۡ لَّہُمَاۤ اُفٍّ وَّلَا تَنۡہَرۡہُمَا وَقُلۡ لَّہُمَا قَوۡلًا کَرِیۡمًا

kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age with thee, never say unto them any word expressive of disgust nor reproach them, but address them with excellent speech.

وَاخۡفِضۡ لَہُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحۡمَۃِ وَقُلۡ رَّبِّ ارۡحَۡہُمَا کَمَا رَبَّیٰنِیۡ صَغِیۡرًا ﴿ؕ۲۵﴾

“And lower to them the wing of humility out of tenderness. And say, ‘My Lord, have mercy on them even as they nourished me in my childhood.’”

اِنَّ الۡعَہۡدَ کَانَ مَسۡـُٔوۡلً

the covenant shall be questioned about.

اِنَّ السَّمۡعَ وَالۡبَصَرَ وَالۡفُؤَادَ کُلُّ اُولٰٓئکَ کَانَ عَنۡہُ مَسۡـُٔوۡلًا

Verily, the ear and the eye and the heart — all these shall be called to account.

اِنَّ السَّمۡعَ وَالۡبَصَرَ وَالۡفُؤَادَ کُلُّ اُولٓئِکَ کَانَ عَنۡہُ مَسۡـُٔوۡلًا

Verily, the ear and the eye and the heart — all these shall be called to account.

وَلَا تَقۡفُ مَا لَیۡسَ لَکَ بِہٖ عِلۡمٌ ؕ اِنَّ السَّمۡعَ وَالۡبَصَرَ وَالۡفُؤَادَ کُلُّ اُولٰٓئکَ کَانَ عَنۡہُ مَسۡـُٔوۡلًا ﴿۳۷﴾

And follow not that of which thou hast no knowledge. Verily, the ear and the eye and the heart — all these shall be called to account.

وَلَا تَقۡفُ مَا لَیۡسَ لَکَ بِہٖ عِلۡمٌ

And follow not that of which thou hast no knowledge.

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ قَرۡیَۃٍ اِلَّا نَحۡنُ مُہۡلِکُوۡہَا قَبۡلَ یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ اَوۡ مُعَذِّبُوۡہَا عَذَابًا شَدِیۡدًا ؕ کَانَ ذٰلِکَ فِی الۡکِتٰبِ مَسۡطُوۡرًا ﴿۵۹﴾

There is not a township but We shall destroy it before the Day of Resurrection, or punish it with a severe punishment. That is written down in the Book.

وَمَا مَنَعَنَاۤ اَنۡ نُّرۡسِلَ

And nothing could hinder Us from sending {Signs}

بِالۡاٰیٰتِ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ کَذَّبَ بِہَا الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَ ؕ وَاٰتَیۡنَا ثَمُوۡدَ النَّاقَۃَ مُبۡصِرَۃً فَظَلَمُوۡا بِہَا ؕ وَمَا نُرۡسِلُ بِالۡاٰیٰتِ اِلَّا تَخۡوِیۡفًا

except that the former people rejected them, but this is no hindrance. And We gave Thamud the she-camel as a clear Sign, but they unjustly rejected it. And We send not Signs but to warn.

بِالۡاٰیٰتِ اِلَّا تَخۡوِیۡفًا

send not Signs but to warn.

وَمَا مَنَعَنَاۤ اَنۡ نُّرۡسِلَ بِالۡاٰیٰتِ

And nothing could hinder Us from sending Signs

جَآءَ الۡحَقُّ وَزَہَقَ الۡبَاطِلُ ؕ اِنَّ الۡبَاطِلَ کَانَ زَہُوۡقً

Truth has come and falsehood has vanished away. Falsehood does indeed vanish away fast

قُلۡ لَّئِنِ اجۡتَمَعَتِ الۡاِنۡسُ وَالۡجِنُّ عَلٰۤی اَنۡ یَّاۡتُوۡا بِمِثۡلِ ہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنِ لَا یَاۡتُوۡنَ بِمِثۡلِہٖ وَلَوۡ کَانَ بَعۡضُہُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ ظَہِیۡرًا ﴿۸۹﴾

Say, ‘If mankind and the Jinn gathered together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even though they should help one another.’

اَوۡ تَرۡقٰی فِی السَّمَآءِ ؕ وَلَنۡ نُّؤۡمِنَ لِرُقِیِّکَ حَتّٰی تُنَزِّلَ عَلَیۡنَا کِتٰبًا نَّقۡرَؤُہٗ ؕ قُلۡ سُبۡحَانَ رَبِّیۡ ہَلۡ کُنۡتُ اِلَّا بَشَرًا رَّسُوۡلً

or thou ascend up into heaven; and we will not believe in thy ascension until thou send down to us a book that we can read.’ Say, ‘Holy is my Lord! I am not but a man sent as a Messenger.’

وَبِالۡحَقِّ اَنۡزَلۡنٰہُ وَبِالۡحَقِّ نَزَلَ

And in truth have We sent it down and with truth has it descended

مَا لَہُمۡ بِہٖ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍ وَّلَا لِاٰبَآئِہِمۡ ؕ کَبُرَتۡ کَلِمَۃً

No knowledge have they thereof, nor had their fathers. Grievous

کَبُرَتۡ کَلِمَۃً تَخۡرجُ مِنۡ اَفۡوَاہِہِمۡ

Grievous is the word that comes from their mouths.

کَبُرَتۡ کَلِمَۃً تَخۡرُج مِنۡ اَفۡوَاہِہِمۡ

Grievous is the word that comes from their mouths

وَعَلَّمۡنٰہُ مِنۡ لَّدُنَّا عِلۡمًا

And whom We had taught knowledge from Ourself.

وَسَلٰمٌ عَلَیۡہِ یَوۡمَ وُلِدَ وَیَوۡمَ یَمُوۡتُ وَیَوۡمَ یُبۡعَثُ حَیًّا ﴿٪۱۶﴾

And peace was on him the day he was born, and the day he died, and peace there will be on him the day he will be raised up to life again.

وَلِنَجۡعَلَہٗۤ اٰیَۃً لِّلنَّاسِ

‘It is easy for Me;

تَکَادُ السَّمٰوٰتُ یَتَفَطَّرۡنَ مِنۡہُ وَتَنۡشَقُّ الۡاَرۡضُ وَتَخِرُّ الۡجِبَالُ ہَدًّا ﴿ۙ۹۱﴾

The heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces,

اِنۡ ہٰذٰٮنِ لَسٰحِرٰنِ

Certainly these two are magicians

اِنۡ ہٰذٰٮنِ لَسٰحِرٰنِ

Certainly these two are magicians

وَانۡظُرۡ اِلٰۤی اِلٰـہِکَ الَّذِیۡ ظَلۡتَ عَلَیۡہِ عَاکِفًا

Now look at thy god of which thou hast become a devoted worshipper.

وَانۡظُرۡ اِلٰۤی اِلٰـہِکَ

Now look at thy god of which thou hast become a devoted worshippe

فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ ہُدَایَ فَلَا یَضِلُّ وَلَا یَشۡقٰی

Then whoso will follow My guidance, he will not go astray, nor will he come to grief.

وَمَنۡ اَعۡرَضَ عَنۡ ذِکۡرِیۡ فَاِنَّ لَہٗ مَعِیۡشَۃً ضَنۡکًا وَّنَحۡشُرُہٗ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ اَعۡمٰی ﴿۱۲۵﴾

‘But whosoever will turn away from My Reminder, his will be a strait life, and on the Day of Resurrection We shall raise him up blind.’

فَلۡیَاۡتِنَا بِاٰیَۃٍ کَمَاۤ اُرۡسِلَ الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَ

Let him then bring us a Sign just as the former Prophets were sent with Sign.

خُلِقَ الۡاِنۡسَانُ مِنۡ عَجَلٍ ؕ سَاُورِیۡکُمۡ اٰیٰتِیۡ فَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنِ ﴿۳۸﴾

Man is made of haste. I will certainly show you My Signs but ask Me not to hasten.

وَتَاللّٰہِ لَاَکِیۡدَنَّ اَصۡنَامَکُمۡ

‘And, by Allah, I will certainly plan against your idols.'

اِنَّ فِیۡ ہٰذَا لَبَلٰغًا لِّقَوۡمٍ عٰبِدِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰۷﴾ؕ

Herein, surely, is a message for people who worship God.

وَمِنۡکُمۡ مَّنۡ یُّتَوَفّٰی وَمِنۡکُمۡ مَّنۡ یُّرَدُّ اِلٰۤی اَرۡذَلِ الۡعُمُرِ لِکَیۡلَا یَعۡلَمَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ عِلۡمٍ شَیۡئًا

And there are some of you who are caused to die prematurely, and there are others among you who are driven to the worst part of life with the result that they know nothing after having had knowledge

وَلَیَنۡصُرَنَّ اللّٰہُ مَنۡ یَّنۡصُرُہٗ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَقَوِیٌّ عَزِیۡزٌ

And Allah will surely help one who helps Him. Allah is indeed Powerful, Mighty.

وَلَیَنۡصُرَنَّ اللّٰہُ مَنۡ یَّنۡصُرُہٗ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَقَوِیٌّ عَزِیۡزٌ

And Allah will surely help one who helps Him. Allah is indeed Powerful, Mighty

وَلَیَنۡصُرَنَّ اللّٰہُ مَنۡ یَّنۡصُرُہٗ

And Allah will surely help one who helps Him

وَلَیَنۡصُرَنَّ اللّٰہُ مَنۡ یَّنۡصُرُہٗ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَقَوِیٌّ عَزِیۡزٌ

And Allah will surely help one who helps Him. Allah is indeed Powerful, Mighty.

وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِکَ مِنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ وَّلَا نَبِیٍّ

Never sent We a Messenger or a Prophet before thee

اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً ۫ فَتُصۡبِحُ الۡاَرۡضُ مُخۡضَرَّۃً

Allah sends down water from the sky and the earth becomes green

سُبۡحٰنَکَ ہٰذَا بُہۡتَانٌ عَظِیۡمٌ

Holy art Thou, O God, this is a grievous calumny!

سُبۡحٰنَکَ ہٰذَا بُہۡتَانٌ عَظِیۡمٌ

Holy art Thou, O God, this is a grievous calumny!

نُوۡرٌ عَلٰی نُوۡرٍ

Light upon light!

وَعَدَ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مِنۡکُمۡ وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَیَسۡتَخۡلِفَنَّہُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ کَمَا اسۡتَخۡلَفَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ ۪ وَلَیُمَکِّنَنَّ لَہُمۡ دِیۡنَہُمُ الَّذِی ارۡتَضٰی لَہُمۡ وَلَیُبَدِّلَنَّہُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ خَوۡفِہِمۡ اَمۡنًا

Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear.

لَیَسۡتَخۡلِفَنَّہُمۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ

He will surely make them Successors in the earth,

وَجَحَدُوۡا بِہَا وَاسۡتَیۡقَنَتۡہَاۤ اَنۡفُسُہُمۡ

And they rejected them {wrongfully and arrogantly}, while their souls were convinced of them.

وَجَحَدُوۡا بِہَا وَاسۡتَیۡقَنَتۡہَاۤ اَنۡفُسُہُمۡ

وَجَحَدُوۡا بِہَا وَاسۡتَیۡقَنَتۡہَاۤ اَنۡفُسُہُمۡ

And they rejected them {wrongfully and arrogantly}, while their souls were convinced of them.

لَاُعَذِّبَنَّہٗ عَذَابًا شَدِیۡدًا اَوۡ لَاَاذۡبَحَنَّہٗۤ اَوۡ لَیَاۡتِیَنِّیۡ بِسُلۡطٰنٍ ُّبِیۡنٍ ﴿۲۲﴾

‘I will surely punish him with a severe punishment or I will slay him, unless he bring me a clear reason for his absence.’

لَاُعَذِّبَنَّہٗ عَذَابًا شَدِیۡدًا

I will surely punish him with a severe punishment

وَقُلِ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ سَیُرِیۡکُمۡ اٰیٰتِہٖ فَتَعۡرِفُوۡنَہَا

And say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah; He will soon show you His Signs, and you will know them.'

اِنِّیۡۤ اَنَا اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ

Verily I am, I am Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

وَالَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُدۡخِلَنَّہُمۡ فِی الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ ﴿۱۰﴾

And those who believe and do good works — them We shall surely admit into the company of the righteous.

بَلۡ ہُوَ اٰیٰتٌۢ بَیِّنٰتٌ فِیۡ صُدُوۡرِ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡعِلۡمَ

Nay, it is a collection of clear Signs in the hearts of those who are given knowledge.

وَقَالُوۡا لَوۡلَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَیۡہِ اٰیتٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّہٖ ؕ قُلۡ اِنَّمَا الۡاٰیٰتُ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ ؕ وَاِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا نَذِیۡرٌ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿۵۱﴾

And they say, ‘Why are not Signs sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘The Signs are with Allah, and certainly I am a clear Warner.’

اَوَلَمۡ یَکۡفِہِمۡ اَنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ یُتۡلٰی عَلَیۡہِمۡ ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَرَحۡمَۃً وَّذِکۡرٰی لِقَوۡمٍ یُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿٪۵۲﴾

Is it not enough for them that We have sent down to thee the Book which is recited to them? Verily, there is mercy in it and a reminder for a people who believe.

وَیَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَکَ بِالۡعَذَابِ ؕ وَلَوۡلَاۤ اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّی لَّجَآءَہُمُ الۡعَذَابُ ؕ وَلَیَاۡتِیَنَّہُمۡ بَغۡتَۃً وَّہُمۡ لَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿۵۴﴾

They ask thee to hasten on the punishment; and had there not been an appointed term, the punishment would have come upon them. And it shall surely overtake them unexpectedly, while they perceive not.

وَیَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَکَ بِالۡعَذَابِ

They ask thee to hasten on the punishment;

وَالَّذِیۡنَ جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَ

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways

وَالَّذِیۡنَ جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَ

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways

وَالَّذِیۡنَ جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَا

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways.

لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَا

We will surely guide them in Our ways

وَالَّذِیۡنَ جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَا ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَمَعَ الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ

And as for those who strive in Our path —

وَالَّذِیۡنَ جَاہَدُوۡا فِیۡنَا لَنَہۡدِیَنَّہُمۡ سُبُلَنَا

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways.

فِطۡرَتَ اللّٰہِ الَّتِیۡ فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَیۡہَا

And follow the nature made by Allah — the nature in which He has created mankind.

وَاَقِیۡمُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَلَا تَکُوۡنُوۡا مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ

And observe Prayer, and be not of those who associate partners with God.

وَاَقِیۡمُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَلَا تَکُوۡنُوۡا مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ

And observe Prayer, and be not of those who associate partners with God.

وَاَقِیۡمُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَلَا تَکُوۡنُوۡا مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ

And observe Prayer, and be not of those who associate partners with God.

ظَہَرَ الۡفَسَادُ فِی الۡبَرِّ وَالۡبَحۡرِ

Corruption has appeared on land and sea

اِنَّ اَنۡکَرَ الۡاَصۡوَاتِ لَصَوۡتُ الۡحَمِیۡرِ

The most disagreeable of voices is the voice of the ass.

وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَاٰتَیۡنَا کُلَّ نَفۡسٍ ہُدٰٮَا وَلٰکِنۡ حَقَّ الۡقَوۡلُ مِنِّیۡ لَاَمۡلَـَٔنَّ جَہَنَّمَ مِنَ الۡجِنَّۃِ وَالنَّاسِ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿۱۴﴾

And if We had enforced Our will, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me has come true: ‘I will fill Hell with Jinn and men all together.’

قُلۡ لَّکُمۡ مِّیۡعَادُ یَوۡمٍ لَّا تَسۡتَاۡخِرُوۡنَ عَنۡہُ سَاعَۃً وَّلَا تَسۡتَقۡدِمُوۡنَ ﴿٪۳۱﴾

Say, ‘For you is the promise of a day from which you cannot remain behind a single moment nor can you get ahead of it.’

لَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَۃٌ وِّزۡرَ اُخۡرٰی

no burdened soul can bear the burden of another;

لَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَۃٌ وِّزۡرَ اُخۡرٰی

no burdened soul can bear the burden of another;

اِذۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡہِمُ اثۡنَیۡنِ

When We sent to them two Messengers

فَبَشَّرۡنٰہُ بِغُلٰمٍ حَلِیۡمٍ ﴿۱۰۲﴾

So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing son.

وَعَجِبُوۡۤا اَنۡ جَآءَہُمۡ مُّنۡذِرٌ مِّنۡہُمۡ ۫ وَقَالَ الۡکٰفِرُوۡنَ ہٰذَا سٰحِرٌ کَذَّابٌ ۖ﴿ۚ۵﴾

And they wonder that a Warner has come to them from among themselves; and the disbelievers say, ‘This is a magician, a great liar.

اِنَّ ہٰذَا لَشَیۡءٌ عُجَابٌ

This is indeed a strange thing

ہٰذَا لَشَیۡءٌ عُجَابٌ

strange thing

اِنَّ ہٰذَا لَشَیۡءٌ عُجَابٌ

This is indeed a strange thing

اِنَّ ہٰذَا لَشَیۡءٌ عُجَابٌ

This is indeed a strange thing

قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنۡظِرۡنِیۡۤ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُوۡنَ ﴿۸۰﴾

He said, ‘My Lord, then grant me respite till the

قَالَ فَاِنَّکَ مِنَ الۡمُنۡظَرِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۸۱﴾

God said, ‘Certainly thou art of those that are granted

اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡوَقۡتِ الۡمَعۡلُوۡمِ ﴿۸۲﴾

‘Till the day of the appointed time.’

قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِکَ لَاُغۡوِیَنَّہُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۸۳﴾

He said, ‘So by Thy might, I will surely lead

اِلَّا عِبَادَکَ مِنۡہُمُ الۡمُخۡلَصِیۡنَ ﴿۸۴﴾

‘Except Thy chosen servants from among them.’

قَالَ فَالۡحَقُّ ۫ وَالۡحَقَّ اَقُوۡلُ ﴿ۚ۸۵﴾

God said, ‘Then the truth is, and the truth I

لَاَمۡلَـَٔنَّ جَہَنَّمَ مِنۡکَ وَمِمَّنۡ تَبِعَکَ مِنۡہُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ ﴿۸۶﴾

‘That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and with

وَاَنۡزَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّنَ الۡاَنۡعَامِ ثَمٰنِیَۃَ اَزۡوَاجٍ

and He has sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs.

اَللّٰہُ نَزَّلَ اَحۡسَنَ الۡحَدِیۡثِ کِتٰبًا مُّتَشَابِہًا مَّثَانِیَ ٭ۖ تَقۡشَعِرُّ مِنۡہُ جُلُوۡدُ الَّذِیۡنَ یَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّہُمۡ ۚ ثُمَّ تَلِیۡنُ جُلُوۡدُہُمۡ وَقُلُوۡبُہُمۡ اِلٰی ذِکۡرِ اللّٰہِ

Allah has sent down the best Message in the form of a Book, whose verses are mutually supporting and repeated in diverse forms at which do creep the skins of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts soften to the remembrance of Allah.

تَقۡشَعِرُّ مِنۡہُ جُلُوۡدُ الَّذِیۡنَ یَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّہُمۡ ۚ ثُمَّ تَلِیۡنُ جُلُوۡدُہُمۡ وَقُلُوۡبُہُمۡ اِلٰی ذِکۡرِ اللّٰہِ

Which do creep the skins of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts soften to the remembrance of Allah.

اَللّٰہُ یَتَوَفَّی الۡاَنۡفُسَ حِیۡنَ مَوۡتِہَا وَالَّتِیۡ لَمۡ تَمُتۡ فِیۡ مَنَامِہَا ۚ فَیُمۡسِکُ الَّتِیۡ قَضٰی عَلَیۡہَا الۡمَوۡتَ وَیُرۡسِلُ الۡاُخۡرٰۤی

Allah takes away the souls of human beings at the time of their death; and during their sleep of those also that are not yet dead. And then He retains those against which He has decreed death, and sends back the others

فَیُمۡسِکُ الَّتِیۡ قَضٰی عَلَیۡہَا الۡمَوۡتَ

فَیُمۡسِکُ الَّتِیۡ قَضٰی عَلَیۡہَا الۡمَوۡتَ

against which He has decreed death

اَللّٰہُ یَتَوَفَّی الۡاَنۡفُسَ حِیۡنَ مَوۡتِہَا

Allah takes away the souls of human beings at the time of their death

قُلۡ یٰعِبَادِیَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَسۡرَفُوۡا عَلٰۤی اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُوۡا مِنۡ رَّحۡمَۃِ

Say, “O My servants who have committed excesses against their

وَاِنۡ یَّکُ صَادِقًا یُّصِبۡکُمۡ بَعۡضُ الَّذِیۡ یَعِدُکُمۡ

But if he is truthful, then some of that which he threatens you with will surely befall you.

وَقَالُوۡا قُلُوۡبُنَا فِیۡۤ اَکِنَّۃٍ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُوۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡہِ وَفِیۡۤ اٰذَانِنَا وَقۡرٌ

And they say: ‘Our hearts are under covers and are protected against that to which thou callest us, and in our ears there is a deafness

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا اللّٰہُ ثُمَّ اسۡتَقَامُوۡا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَیۡہِمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ اَلَّا تَخَافُوۡا وَلَا تَحۡزَنُوۡا وَاَبۡشِرُوۡا بِالۡجَنَّۃِ الَّتِیۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ ﴿۳۱﴾

As for those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend on them, saying: ‘Fear ye not, nor grieve; and rejoice in the Garden that you were promised.

نَحۡنُ اَولِیٰٓؤُکُمۡ فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَفِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۚ وَلَکُمۡ فِیۡہَا مَا تَشۡتَہِیۡۤ اَنۡفُسُکُمۡ وَلَکُمۡ فِیۡہَا مَا تَدَّعُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۳۲﴾

‘We are your friends in this life and in the Hereafter. Therein you will have all that your souls will desire, and therein you will have all that you will ask for.

لَّا یَاۡتِیۡہِ الۡبَاطِلُ مِنۡۢ بَیۡنِ یَدَیۡہِ وَلَا مِنۡ خَلۡفِہٖ

Falsehood cannot approach it either from before or from behind it.

قُلۡ ہُوَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا ہُدًی وَّشِفَآءٌ

Say, ‘It is a guidance and a healing for those who believe

سَنُرِیۡہِمۡ اٰیٰتِنَا فِی الۡاٰفَاقِ وَفِیۡۤ اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ حَتّٰی یَتَبَیَّنَ لَہُمۡ اَنَّہُ الۡحَقُّ

Soon We will show them Our Signs in all parts of the earth, and among their own people until it becomes manifest to them that it is the truth.

اَنۡزَلَ الۡکِتٰبَ بِالۡحَقِّ وَالۡمِیۡزَانَ

Who has sent down the Book with truth and also the Balance.

اَنۡزَلَ الۡکِتٰبَ بِالۡحَقِّ وَالۡمِیۡزَانَ

Who has sent down the Book with truth and also the Balance.

رُوۡحًا مِّنۡ اَمۡرِنَا

{We revealed to thee} the Word by Our command.

مَا لَہُمۡ بِذٰلِکَ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍ

They have no knowledge whatsoever of that

وَمَنۡ یَّعۡشُ عَنۡ ذِکۡرِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ نُقَیِّضۡ لَہٗ شَیۡطٰنًا فَہُوَ لَہٗ

And he who turns away from the remembrance of the

وَمَنۡ یَّعۡشُ عَنۡ ذِکۡرِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ نُقَیِّضۡ لَہٗ شَیۡطٰنًا فَہُوَ لَہٗ قَرِیۡنٌ ﴿۳۷﴾

And he who turns away from the remembrance of the Gracious God, We appoint for him a satan, who becomes his companion.

فَاسۡتَمۡسِکۡ بِالَّذِیۡۤ اُوۡحِیَ اِلَیۡکَ

So hold thou fast to that which has been revealed to thee.

وَاِنَّہٗ لَذِکۡرٌ لَّکَ وَلِقَوۡمِکَ

And, truly, it is a source of eminence for thee and for thy people;

وَاِنَّہٗ لَعِلۡمٌ لِّلسَّاعَۃِ فَلَا تَمۡتَرُنَّ بِہَا وَاتَّبِعُوۡنِ ؕ ہٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسۡتَقِیۡمٌ ﴿۶۲﴾

But verily, he was a sign of the Hour. So have no doubt about it, but follow me. This is the right path.

وَاِنَّہٗ لَعِلۡمٌ لِّلسَّاعَۃِ فَلَا تَمۡتَرُنَّ بِہَا

But verily, he was a sign of the Hour. So have no doubt about it

قُلۡ اِنۡ کَانَ لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ وَلَدٌ ٭ۖ فَاَنَا اَوَّلُ الۡعٰبِدِیۡنَ ﴿۸۲﴾

Say, ‘If there had been a son to the Gracious God, I would have been the first of worshippers.’

فَبِاَیِّ حَدِیۡثٍۭ بَعۡدَ اللّٰہِ وَاٰیٰتِہٖ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ

In what word, then, after rejecting that of Allah and His Signs will they believe?

فَبِاَیِّ حَدِیۡثٍۭ بَعۡدَ اللّٰہِ وَاٰیٰتِہٖ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ

In what word, then, after rejecting that of Allah and His Signs will they believe?

وَشَہِدَ شَاہِدٌ مِّنۡۢ بَنِیۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِیۡلَ

and a witness from among the children of Israel bears witness to the advent of one like him,

وَلَتَعۡرِفَنَّہُمۡ فِیۡ لَحۡنِ الۡقَوۡلِ

And thou shalt surely recognize them by the tone of their speech.

وَلَتَعۡرِفَنَّہُمۡ فِیۡ لَحۡنِ الۡقَوۡلِ

And thou shalt surely recognize them by the tone of their speech.

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ یُبَایِعُوۡنَکَ اِنَّمَا یُبَایِعُوۡنَ اللّٰہَ

Verily, those who swear allegiance to thee indeed swear allegiance to Allah.

فِیۡ وُجُوۡہِہِمۡ مِّنۡ اَثَرِ السُّجُوۡدِ

Their mark is upon their faces, being the traces of prostrations.

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنۡ جَآءَکُمۡ فَاسِقٌۢ بِنَبَاٍ فَتَبَیَّنُوۡۤا

O ye who believe! if an unrighteous person brings you any news, ascertain the correctness of the report fully.

وَمَا یَنۡطِقُ عَنِ الۡہَوٰی ؕ﴿۴﴾

Nor does he speak out of his own desire.

اِنۡ ہُوَ اِلَّا وَحۡیٌ یُّوۡحٰی ۙ﴿۵﴾

It is nothing but pure revelation that has been revealed

دَنَا فَتَدَلّٰی

he drew nearer to God; then he came down to mankind,

فَکَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَیۡنِ اَوۡ اَدۡنٰی ۚ﴿۱۰﴾

So that he became, as it were, one chord to two bows or closer still.

مَا کَذَبَ الۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَاٰی ﴿۱۲﴾

The heart of the Prophet was not untrue to that which he saw.

مَا زَاغَ الۡبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغٰی ﴿۱۸﴾

The eye deviated not, nor did it wander.

لَقَدۡ رَاٰی مِنۡ اٰیٰتِ رَبِّہِ الۡکُبۡرٰی ﴿۱۹﴾

Surely, he saw the greatest of the Signs of his Lord.

تِلۡکَ اِذًا قِسۡمَۃٌ ضِیۡزٰی ﴿۲۳﴾

That indeed is an unfair division.

تِلۡکَ اِذًا قِسۡمَۃٌ ضِیۡزٰی ﴿۲۳﴾

That indeed is an unfair division.

تِلۡکَ اِذًا قِسۡمَۃٌ ضِیۡزٰی ﴿۲۳﴾

That indeed is an unfair division.

وَاِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا یُۡنِیۡ مِنَ الۡحَقِّ شَیۡئًا

and conjecture avails naught against truth.

وَاِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا یُغۡنِیۡ مِنَ الۡحَقِّ شَیۡئًا

and conjecture avails naught against truth.

وَاِنۡ یَّرَوۡا اٰیَۃً یُّعۡرِضُوۡا وَیَقُوۡلُوۡا سِحۡرٌ مُّسۡتَمِرٌّ ﴿۳﴾

And if they see a Sign, they turn away and say, ‘A passing feat of magic.’

وَاِنۡ یَّرَوۡا اٰیَۃً یُّعۡرِضُوۡا وَیَقُوۡلُوۡا سِحۡرٌ مُّسۡتَمِرٌّ ﴿۳﴾

And if they see a Sign, they turn away and say, ‘A passing feat of magic.’

حِکۡمَۃٌۢ بَالِغَۃٌ

Consummate wisdom;

فِیۡ مَقۡعَدِ صِدۡقٍ عِنۡدَ مَلِیۡکٍ مُّقۡتَدِرٍ ﴿٪۵۶﴾

In the seat of truth with an Omnipotent King.

وَاِنَّہٗ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ عَظِیۡمٌ ﴿ۙ۷۷﴾

And, indeed, that is a grand oath, if you only knew —

اِنَّہٗ لَقُرۡاٰنٌ کَرِیۡمٌ ﴿ۙ۷۸﴾

That this is indeed a noble Qur’an,

فِیۡ کِتٰبٍ مَّکۡنُوۡنٍ ﴿ۙ۷۹﴾

In a well-preserved Book,

لَّا یَمَسُّہٗۤ اِلَّا الۡمُطَہَّرُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۸۰﴾

Which none shall touch except those who are purified.

وَاَنۡزَلۡنَا الۡحَدِیۡدَ

We sent down iron

کَتَبَ اللّٰہُ لَاَغۡلِبَنَّ اَنَا وَرُسُلِیۡ

Allah has decreed: ‘Most surely I will prevail, I and My Messengers.'

لَاَغۡلِبَنَّ اَنَا وَرُسُلِیۡ

Most surely I will prevail, I and My Messengers.

اُولٰٓئِکَ کَتَبَ فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِہِمُ الۡاِیۡمَانَ وَاَیَّدَہُمۡ بِرُوۡحٍ مِّنۡہُ

These are they in whose hearts Allah has inscribed true faith and whom He has strengthened with inspiration from Himself.

وَمَاۤ اٰتٰٮکُمُ الرَّسُوۡلُ فَخُذُوۡہُ ٭ وَمَا نَہٰٮکُمۡ عَنۡہُ فَانۡتَہُوۡا ۚ

And whatsoever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain from that.

مَاۤ اٰتٰٮکُمُ الرَّسُوۡلُ

whatsoever the Messenger gives you

وَمَاۤ اٰتٰٮکُمُ الرَّسُوۡلُ فَخُذُوۡہُ ٭ وَمَا نَہٰٮکُمۡ عَنۡہُ فَانۡتَہُوۡا

وَمَاۤ اٰتٰٮکُمُ الرَّسُوۡلُ فَخُذُوۡہُ ٭ وَمَا نَہٰٮکُمۡ عَنۡہُ فَانۡتَہُوۡا

وَمَا نَہٰٮکُمۡ عَنۡہُ فَانۡتَہُوۡا

and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain from that.

لِمَ تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ

why do you say what you do not do?

کَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ اَنۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۴﴾

Most hateful is it in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do.

کَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ اَنۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿۴﴾

Most hateful is it in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do.

مَنۡ اَنۡصَارِیۡۤ اِلَی اللّٰہِ

Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah?

قُلۡ بَلٰی وَرَبِّیۡ لَتُبۡعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلۡتُمۡ

Say, ‘Yea, by my Lord, you shall surely be raised up; then shall you surely be informed of what you did.'

لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلۡتُمۡ

hen shall you surely be informed of what you did

وَّاَشۡہِدُوۡا ذَوَیۡ عَدۡلٍ مِّنۡکُمۡ

and call to witness two just persons from among you; and bear true witness for Allah

قَدۡ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰہُ اِلَیۡکُمۡ ذِکۡرًا

Allah has indeed sent down to you a Reminder

رَّسُوۡلًا

A Messenger,

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا قُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَکُمۡ وَاَہۡلِیۡکُمۡ نَارًا

O ye who believe! Save yourselves and your families from a Fire.

وَاِنَّہٗ لَحَقُّ الۡیَقِیۡنِ ﴿۵۲﴾

And surely, it is the true certainty.

فَلَا یُظۡہِرُ عَلٰی غَیۡبِہٖۤ اَحَدًا

and He reveals not His secrets to any one,

فَلَا یُظۡہِرُ عَلٰی غَیۡبِہٖۤ اَحَدًا

He reveals not His secrets to any one

اِلَّا مَنِ ارۡتَضٰی مِنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ

Except to him whom He chooses, namely a Messenger of His.

اِلَّا مَنِ ارۡتَضٰی مِنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ

Except to him whom He chooses, namely a Messenger of His.

تَعۡرِفُ فِیۡ وُجُوۡہِہِمۡ نَضۡرَۃَ النَّعِیۡمِ ﴿ۚ۲۵﴾

Thou wilt find in their faces the freshness of bliss.

لَتَرۡکَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنۡ طَبَقٍ ﴿ؕ۲۰﴾

That you shall assuredly pass on from one stage to another.

لَتَرۡکَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنۡ طَبَقٍ ﴿ؕ۲۰﴾

That you shall assuredly pass on from one stage to another.

بَلۡ ہُوَ قُرۡاٰنٌ مَّجِیۡدٌ ﴿ۙ۲۲﴾

Nay, but it is a glorious Qur’an,

بَلۡ ہُوَ قُرۡاٰنٌ مَّجِیۡدٌ ﴿ۙ۲۲﴾

Nay, but it is a glorious Qur’an,

فِیۡ لَوۡحٍ مَّحۡفُوۡظٍ ﴿٪۲۳﴾

In a well guarded tablet.

فِیۡ لَوۡحٍ مَّحۡفُوۡظٍ ﴿٪۲۳﴾

In a well guarded tablet.

اِنَّہٗ لَقَوۡلٌ فَصۡلٌ ﴿ۙ۱۴﴾

It is surely a decisive word,

اِنَّہٗ لَقَوۡلٌ فَصۡلٌ ﴿ۙ۱۴﴾

It is surely a decisive word,

ثُمَّ لَا یَمُوۡتُ فِیۡہَا وَلَا یَحۡیٰی ﴿ؕ۱۴﴾

Then he will neither die therein nor live.

یٰۤاَیَّتُہَا النَّفۡسُ الۡمُطۡمَئِنَّۃُ ﴿٭ۖ۲۸﴾

And thou, O soul at peace!

ارۡجِعِیۡۤ اِلٰی رَبِّکِ رَاضِیَۃً مَّرۡضِیَّۃً ﴿ۚ۲۹﴾

Return to thy Lord well pleased with Him and He

ارۡجِعِیۡۤ اِلٰی رَبِّکِ

Return to thy Lord

فَادۡخُلِیۡ فِیۡ عِبٰدِیۡ ﴿ۙ۳۰﴾

So enter thou among My chosen servants,

وَادۡخُلِیۡ جَنَّتِیۡ ﴿٪۳۱﴾

And enter thou My Garden.

وَاَمَّا بِنِعۡمَۃِ رَبِّکَ فَحَدِّثۡ ﴿٪۱۲﴾

And the bounty of thy Lord, proclaim.

فِیۡہَا کُتُبٌ قَیِّمَۃٌ ؕ﴿۴﴾

Therein are lasting commandments.

فِیۡہَا کُتُبٌ قَیِّمَۃٌ ؕ﴿۴﴾

Therein are lasting commandments.
