22 Letter of Pandit Lekh Ram FOURTH LETTER: A VERDICT REQUIRED Respected Mirza Şāhib, Namaste. Your two-page letter has been received, from which it became plainly evident that the Holy Quran is replete from beginning to end with nothing but tales and trivi- alities pertaining to Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, [may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], Joseph, Lot, Alexander, and Luqmān. I am willing to discuss the conditions of yesterday's letter, but you are blatantly evad- ing the issue with excuses, references, and arguments. Mr. Mirza! It is regrettable, most regrettable that you are not agreeable to settling the dispute. How truly has someone stated : عذر نامعقول ثابت می کند تقصیر را ]An unreasonable excuse proves the guilt']. Furthermore, you are the Second Messiah. Prove your claim yourself; otherwise, do not create needless clamour and mischief. Lekh Ram On behalf of the Aryah Samaj of Qadian, 9 AM
