HADRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD AS paying lip service like this, then it is quite entertaining. Go on daydreaming without paying attention to anyone in the entire world! It is your prerogative to do and say as you please. I came here some 25 days ago and I am about to leave in a couple of days. You must reach a decision whether you wish to have a debate or you want to send the conditions (that is, the agreement regarding the demonstration of a Sign) to the arbitrators. Otherwise, boasting and bragging amongst friends afterwards will be to no avail. It would be much better, however, if you come this very day to the grounds of the Madrasah and provide proof of Shaițān, Shafāʻat and Shaqqul-Qamar [Satan, Intercession, and the Splitting of the Moon]. You may also appoint an administrative arbitrator. From my side, you may consider Mirza Imam-ud-Din as arbitrator. If you are not satisfied even with this, then desist for the sake of God. The humble servant, Lekh Ram 13 December 1885 21 which means 'the One who grants prayers' is unique to God. The term has its roots in bab if 'al and is used as first person singular. Lekh Ram should, therefore, have said, 'You claim to be Mustajābud-Da'wat [the one whose prayers are accepted]. Now, reflect how much falsehood the Aryah Samaj is employing by claiming that Lekh Ram even knows Arabic. These letters, which have been reproduced here, were written by him in his own hand. The truth of the matter is that he did not have any knowledge of both languages. He was deprived of both languages and knew neither Sanskrit nor Arabic. As for the tongue of a liar, we cannot stop it from uttering falsehood!-Author
