PT. 27 AL-QAMAR CH. 54 وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ And indeed We have made. 33 the Quran easy to understand and to remember. But is there anyone who would take heed? 34. "Lot's people also rejected the Warners. مدَّكِرٍ كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ بِالنُّذُرِ إِنَّا اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّا أَلَ We sent a storm of stones. 35 لُوطٍ نَجَّيْنَهُمْ بِسَحَرِة ' paÁR upon them except the family of Lot, whom We delivered by early dawn, نِعْمَةً مِّنْ عِنْدِنَا ، كَذلِكَ نَجْزِى As a favour from Us. Thus. 36 مَنْ شَكَرَه do We reward him who is grateful. وَلَقَدْ اَنْذَرَهُمْ بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَرَوُا And he indeed had warned. 37 بِالنُّذُرِه them of Our punishment, but they doubted the warning. وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوهُ عَنْ ضَيْفِهِ فَطَمَسْنَا And they deceitfully sought. 38 أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ to turn him away from his guests. So We blinded their eyes, and said, 'Taste ye now My punishment and My warning. '4029 a7:83; 26:161; 29:30. 25:41; 26:174. 11:79; 15:69. part. from which is derived from which means, he forbade, he prohibited. means he took for himself an enclosure. means, he took it for protection means, a maker of enclosure. (Lane & Aqrab). Commentary: The verse signifies either that the disbelievers were completely crushed or that they were as worthless in the sight of God as whittled down and crushed stubble, collected by a maker of hedges. 4029. Important Words:. (We blinded their eyes) طمسنا أعينهم ✓ means, it quitted its form or shape. b means, the man went to a distance or became distant. amab means, he obliterated the mark or 3041 means, the طمس الغيم النجوم. trace thereof clouds concealed the stars.
