CH. 42 ASH-SHŪRĀ PT. 25 اسْتَجِيبُوا لِرَبِّكُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ يَوْمُ Hearken ye to your Lord. 48 before there comes a day for لا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللهِ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ مَّلْجَا which there will be no averting in opposition to the decree of Allah. There will be no refuge for you on that day, nor will there be for you any chance of denial. 3635 يَوْمَبِذٍ وَّ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ نَّكِيْرِ فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَمَا اَرْسَلْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ But if they turn away We. 49 حَفِيْظًا إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا الْبَلْغُ وَإِنَّا إِذَا have not sent thee as a guardian over them. Thy duty is only to convey the Message. "And truly b آذَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً فَرِحَ بِهَا وَإِنْ when We cause man to taste of mercy from Us, he rejoices تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَإِنَّ therein. But if an evil befalls الْإِنْسَانَ كَفُورٌ TEPLY them because of what their hands have sent forth, then lo! man is ungrateful. لِلهِ مُلْكُ السَّمواتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَخْلُقُ To Allah belongs the. 50 kingdom of the heavens and the مَا يَشَاءُ يَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ إِنَانَّا وَيَهَبُ earth. He creates what He pleases لِمَنْ يَّشَاءُ الذُّكُورَة أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَإِنَاثًا وَيَجْعَلُ Or He mixes them, males. 51 مَنْ يَّشَاءُ عَقِيمًا إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ He bestows daughters upon whom He pleases, and He bestows sons upon whom He pleases; and females; and He makes whom He pleases barren.
