PT. 25 ASH-SHŪRĀ CH. 42 وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللهُ فَمَالَهُ مِنْ وَلِي مِنْ Allah R. 5. 45. "And he whom adjudges astray-there is no And thou wilt find the wrongdoers, when they see the بَعْدِهِ وَتَرَى الظَّلِمِينَ لَمَّا رَاوُا الْعَذَابَ. protector for him thereafter يَقُولُونَ هَلْ إِلَى مَرَةٍ مِنْ سَبِيلٍ punishment, saying: 'Is there any way of return?' وَتَريهُمْ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا خَشِعِينَ مِنَ And thou wilt see them. 46 brought before it (the Fire), casting down their eyes on الذُّلِ يَنْظُرُونَ مِنْ طَرْفٍ خَفِي account of disgrace, looking at وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اِنَّ الْخَسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ it with a furtive glance. And The خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيِّمَةِ those who believe will says أَلَا إِنَّ الظَّلِمِينَ فِي عَذَابٍ مُّقِيمٍ losers indeed are those who ruin themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. " Behold! the wrongdoers are to remain in a lasting punishment. 3634 وَمَا كَانَ لَهُمْ مِّنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ يَنْصُرُونَهُمْ And they have no helpers. 47 to help them other than Allah. مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللهُ فَمَالَهُ And for him whom Allah مِنْ سَبِيل adjudges astray there is no way at all. 4:144; 17:98; 18:18. 18:30; 25:38. 17:57. and innocent followers and had placed a price at his head. He forgave them with a magnanimity unparalleled in human history, with the words, "Go, you are all free. No blame shall lie on you this day; may Allah also forgive you" (Hishām). The verse also implies a prophecy that Muslims would be shortly given power and dominion over their 2841 opponents, and so in the hour of triumph they should be forgiving, forbearing and merciful to their enemies. 3634. Commentary: The stealthy glance is the glance of a guilty person who is hauled up for his crimes and is waiting to hear the sentence passed against him.
