CH. 42 love as subsists ASH-SHŪRĀ PT. 25 يَقْتَرِفُ حَسَنَةً نَزِدْ لَهُ فِيْهَا حُسْنًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ between kindred. If <mark><mark>Allah</mark></mark> had فَإِنْ يَّشَا اللهُ يَخْتِمُ عَلى قَلْبِكَ ، وَيَمْحُ so willed, He could seal thy heart. "But <mark><mark>Allah</mark></mark> is blotting out اللهُ الْبَاطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ الْحَقِّ بِكَلِمَتِهِ falsehood through thee and is establishing the truth by His words. <mark>Surely</mark>, He knows full well what is in the breasts. 3620 13:40. إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ 3619. Commentary: attaining nearness to <mark><mark>God</mark></mark> (the word nearness). This. . . قربة meaning قربي لا أسئلكم عليه أجرا إلا المودة في The expression is supposed to bear several interpretations. Some of these are as follows: (1) I ask of you no reward for calling you to the way of <mark><mark>God</mark></mark> except that, being related to you by ties of kinship, <mark><mark><mark>my</mark></mark></mark> solicitude for <mark><mark><mark>your</mark></mark></mark> spiritual well-being impels me to invite you to accept the message of truth. In this case is lit; (2) I ask of you no reward for the great work I am doing for <mark><mark><mark>your</mark></mark></mark> spiritual benefit except that you should learn to live and behave like blood relations; (3) I ask no reward or return for <mark><mark><mark>my</mark></mark></mark> solicitude and love for you except that in offering opposition to me you should at least have some regard for the ties of relationship that I have with you; and (4) I want no reward from you except that you should learn to develop a liking for 2834 last meaning agrees with 25:58 where the Holy Prophet is stated as saying to his people: "I ask of you naught in return for it except that he <mark>who</mark> will, may take a way to his <mark><mark><mark><mark>Lord</mark></mark></mark></mark>. " 3620. Commentary: The verse seems to administer a rebuke to disbelievers by saying to the Holy Prophet, "Do disbelievers have the hardihood to say that you are a liar and an impostor? Do they not look at <mark><mark><mark>your</mark></mark></mark> life and <mark><mark><mark>your</mark></mark></mark> work? Is the great work that you are doing the work of an impostor? Invention of lies against <mark><mark>God</mark></mark> is a deadly poison which causes moral death of the inventor and brings about his complete destruction. But <mark><mark><mark>your</mark></mark></mark> noble efforts in the cause of truth are producing excellent results. Moreover, the hearts of liars and
