CH. 41 ḤĀ MĪM AS-SAJDAH PT. 24 فَإِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ But if they turn away with. 39 يُسَبِّحُونَ يَسْتَمُونَ لَهُ بِالَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا detriment, while those who are disdain, they do it to their own with thy Lord glorify Him night Č and day, and they are never wearied. 3588 وَمِنْ أَيْيَةِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً And among His Signs is. 40 this: that thou seest the earth فَإِذَا اَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ lying withered, but when We b وَرَبَتْ اِنَّ الَّذِى اَ ,and swells with verdure. Surely الْمَوْتَى إِنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ send down water on it, it stirs He Who quickened it can quicken the dead also. Verily, He has power over all things. 3589 اِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِي ابْتِنَا لَا يَخْفَوْنَ Surely, those who deviate. 41 from the right path with respect عَلَيْنَا أَفَمَنْ يَلْقَى فِي النَّارِ خَيْرٌ أَمْ مَّنْ to Our Signs are not hidden from Us. Important Words: (are wearied) is derived from which means, he turned away with disgust from it; he was disgusted with it or loathed it or became weary of it. at which is infinitive-noun is synonymous with J. (weariness) and also exceeds it (Lane & Aqrab). 3589. Important Words: al (withered) is the feminine of which is active participle from which means, he was or became خشعت الشمس humble or submissive means, the sun was about to set or it became eclipsed. means, the means, the خشعت الارض. leaves withered earth became dried up, not having been rained upon (Lane & Aqrab). see 22:6. and اهتزت For رابت Commentary: The verse after pointing to a well- known law of nature that when earth becomes dry and parched for lack of rain, God sends down water and it begins to bloom and blossom, draws attention to the fact that as the world had become morally and spiritually parched for want of spiritual rain, God revealed the Quran to give it a new life.
