CH. 40 AL-MU'MIN PT. 24 مَا يُجَادِلُ فِي أَيتِ اللهِ إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا None disputes about the. 5 Signs of Allah except those who disbelieve. Let not, then, their going about in the land deceive thee. 3496 فَلَا يَغُرُرُكَ تَقَلُّبُهُمْ فِي الْبِلَادِ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَالْأَحْزَابُ Before them the people of. 6 Noah and other groups after مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ وَهَمَّتْ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ them rejected Our Signs and بِرَسُوْلِهِمْ لِيَأْخُذُوهُ وَجَدَلُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ Messenger, and disputed by لِيُدْخِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ فَاَخَذْتُهُم فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ every nation strove to seize their means of false arguments that they might rebut the truth thereby. Commentary: The verse gives an illustration of the great power and wealth which disbelievers, in the time of Noah and the Prophets who came after him, possessed. Just as disbelievers were seized with Divine punishment because they rejected and opposed their Prophets, so will the enemies of the Holy Prophet be punished. 3498.
