CH. 38 ṢĀD PT. 23 يدَاوُدُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ 27. Then we said to him, 'O David, We have made thee a فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِع vicegerent in the earth; so judge between men with justice, and الْهَوَى فَيُضِلَّكَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللهِ إِنَّ follow not vain desire, lest it الَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ should lead thee astray from the way of Allah. ' Surely, those عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا نَسُوا يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ في who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment, because they forgot the Day of Reckoning. 3397 R. 3. وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا And We have not created. 28 E بَاطِلاً ذُلِكَ ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَوَيْلٌ. that is between them in vain لِلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا مِنَ النَّارِ the heaven and the earth and all That is the view of those who disbelieve.
