PT. 22 CH. 34 SABA' it. And thy Lord is Watchful over all things. 3148 R. 3. 23. Say, "Call upon whom you assert to be gods ج قُلِ ادْعُوا الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ those لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَلَا beside Allah. They control not even the weight of an atom in فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِيهِمَا مِنْ شِرْكِ the heavens or in the earth, nor وَمَا لَهُ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ ظَهِيرِ have they any share in either, nor has He any helper among them. '3149 Him, except for him about وَلَا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا لِمَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ No intercession avails with. 24 حَتَّى إِذَا فُرِّعَ عَنْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ قَالُوا مَاذَا whom He permits it, until when their hearts are relieved of fright قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُوا الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ they would say, “What is it that الْكَبِيرُ your Lord said?' They (the Messengers) will answer, 'The truth. ' And He is the High, the Great. 3150 3148. Commentary: "17:57; 25:4. b2:256; 20:110; 78:39. The verse clearly and positively removes all doubts or misgivings as to the extent of the authority and control of Satan over men. According to it Satan has definitely no authority over man. It is by his own wrong beliefs and evil deeds that man brings about his spiritual ruin. 3149. Commentary: As stated above, the principal theme of this Surah is the triumph of Islam. Instances of David and Solomon on the one hand and of the Sabaeans on the other given in the preceding few verses embodied a prophecy that Muslims would also be the Israelites in the reigns of David blessed with power and wealth like verse, behave and were are and Solomon and the Sabaeans but if they did not ungrateful to God, they would be punished like them. In the present however, disbelievers challenged to call upon all their false gods to arrest or retard the progress and advance of Islam and are told that they cannot do so; in fact, no power on earth can stop the new Faith from spreading. 2610 3150.
