CH. 20 ṬĀHĀ 29. That they may understand my speech; 30. And grant me a helper from my family_2259 31. "Aaron, my brother; 32. This is why, in spite of the weakness of which he himself was conscious, he made a very effective and convincing speech Pharaoh and his court. 2259. Important Words: before (helper) is derived from ✓ (wazara). means, he bore the PT. 16 يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي وَاجْعَلْ لِي وَزِيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِي هرُونَ أَخِي اشْدُدْ بِةٍ أَزْرِي sunk deep into the depths of moral turpitude, to the highest pinnacles of spiritual glory. Even in moments of mortal danger he was never discouraged or dismayed. The brave words which he uttered on the battle- field of Hunain when he was left alone surrounded by bloodthirsty enemies and sure death stared him in I" انا النبي لا كذب انا ابن عبد المطلب means, the man carried | the face viz وزر الرجل. thing a weight which burdened his back. ,means الرجل وزر or he overcame overwhelmed the man. also means, he sinned. means, helper; one who helps a person in carrying his burden; a minister who helps the king by his counsel in conducting the affairs of the State (Aqrab). Commentary: am the Prophet of God, there is no untruth about it, I am the son of 'Abdil-Muṭṭalib," (Bukhārī, Kitābul- Jihad was-Siyar) have resounded through the centuries. 2260. Important Words: azrun) is) أزر ;(my strength) أزرى derived from (azara). They say i. e. it surrounded or encompassed it. and (azzara) means, he strengthened him or it. (āzara) آزر الزرع بعضه. lighter | him and strengthened him What a contrast between Moses and the Holy Prophet Muḥammad! Whereas Moses here asks for a helper means, he aided, assisted or helped for the discharge of a responsibility, the Holy Prophet who means, the seed-produce became was entrusted with an infinitely tangled or luxuriant, one part heavier and more onerous task never reaching to another, and one part prayed to be given an assistant. He, strengthening another. and alone, unhelped and unassisted, (azara) and (āzara) are also used discharged fully and completely the synonymously. (azrun) means, responsibility of raising a people, | strength; weakness; back; aid, 2014
