CH. 16 AN-NAHL y PT. 14 اِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِایتِ اللهِ As for those who do not. 105 believe in the Signs of Allah, لَا يَهْدِيهِمُ اللَّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ surely, Allah will not guide them, and they shall have a grievous punishment. 1905 إِنَّمَا يَفْتَرِى الْكَذِبَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ It is only those who. 106 E بِالتِ اللهِ ، وَأُولَيكَ هُمُ الْكَذِبُونَ Allah, that forge falsehood, and believe not in the Signs of they it is who are the liars. 1906 107. "Whoso disbelieves Allah after he has believed- مَنْ كَفَرَ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ اِيْمَانِةٍ إِلَّا مَنْ in أكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهُ مُطْمَن بِالْإِيْمَانِ وَلكِن save him who is forced there to while his heart finds peace in مَّنْ شَرَحَ بِالْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ the faith but such as open غَضَبٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ their breasts to disbelief, on them is Allah's wrath; and "3:91; 4:138; 63:4. 25 of the Quran which deal with Jews and Christians had been revealed before that time. Ibn Mas'ud who was one of very early converts to Islam says that chapters 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 belong to the early Meccan period (Bukhārī, Kitābut-Tafsir). All these Surahs abound in facts relating to Jews and Christians. How could the be expected to follow the true guidance and will therefore suffer grievous punishment on account of their going astray from the path which leads to eternal bliss and happiness. 1906. Commentary: The verse draws attention to the Prophet know these facts if the noble life of the Holy Prophet and source of his information was the Christian slave, Jabr, the sword-cutter of Mecca? 1905. Commentary: The verse means to say that disbelievers bring forward only silly objections. In spite of many powerful and clear signs having been shown to them they find fault with the sublime teachings of the Quran. They cannot adduces it as evidence of the fact that he could not possibly ascribe to God what he learnt from men. Only such persons, it says, as have no faith in God and are perverse can be guilty of such forgeries. But the Prophet is doing his best to establish God's glory on earth and not only himself glorifies God but bids others do the same. Only a black-hearted man can accuse such a noble person of forgery. 1727
