PT. 4 AN-NISA' CH. 4 وَلَا تَنْكِحُوا مَا نَكَحَ آبَاؤُكُمْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ And marry not those women. 23 whom your fathers married, except what has already passed. It is a thing foul and hateful and an evil way. 502 R. 4. إِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً ط وَمَقْتًا وَسَاءَ سَبِيلان حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَّهُتُكُمْ وَبَنْتُكُمْ Forbidden to you are your. 24 وَاَخَوتُكُمْ وَعَمْتُكُمْ وَخُلتُكُمْ وَبَنْتُ الْآخِ وَبَنْتُ الْأُخْتِ وَأُمَّهُتُكُمُ الَّتِي your اَرْضَعْنَكُمْ وَاَخَوتُكُمْ مِّنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ mothers, and your daughters, and your sisters, and your fathers' sisters, and mothers' sisters, and brother's daughters, and daughters, and sister's وَأَمَّهُتُ نِسَآبِكُمْ وَرَبَابِبْكُمُ الَّتِي فِي your foster حُجُوْرِكُمْ مِنْ نِسَا بِكُمُ الَّتِي دَخَلْتُمُ mothers that have given you suck, and your foster-sisters, بِهِنَّ فَإِنْ لَّمْ تَكُوْنُوْا دَخَلْتُمْ بِهِنَّ فَلَا and the mothers of your wives and your step-daughters, who جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَحَلَابِلُ ابْنَا بِكُمُ are your wards by your wives الَّذِينَ مِنْ أَصْلَابِكُمْ وَأَنْ تَجْمَعُوا بَيْنَ - unto whom you have gone in الْأُخْتَيْنِ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ but if you have not gone in غَفُورًا رَّحِيْمان unto them, there shall be no sin upon you and the wives of your sons that are from your wives, the very tie of marriage having the force of a covenant. 502. Important Words: a most hateful act (Aqrab). Commentary: The clause, except what has already does not mean that ,means, he hated | passed مقته.
