CH. 3 ĀL-E-‘IMRĀN PT. 4 وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتُبِ لَمَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ And surely among the. 200 People of the Book there are وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِمُ some who believe in Allah and خُشِعِيْنَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشْتَرُونَ بِايَتِ اللهِ in what has been sent down to ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا - أوليك لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ you and in what was sent down to them, humbling themselves before Allah. They barter not the Signs of Allah for a paltry price. It is these who shall have their reward with their Lord. Surely, Allah is swift in account. 481 يَا يُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا O ye who believe! be. 201 قف وَرَابِطُوا * وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ steadfast and strive to excel in steadfastness and be on your guard and fear Allah that you may prosper. 482 481. Commentary: a3:111. 57:29. 8:61. The verse embodies a prophecy to the effect that many Christians and Jews will finally accept Islam. The Arabic words rendered here as. Allah is swift in account, when used in regard to disbelievers, would mean that God is swift at taking account and dealing out punishment; but when used about believers they would mean that God is quick in settling accounts and giving out rewards. 482. Important Words: صابروا over himself; or he bore hardships with patience. means, he excelled him in patience or steadfastness; he excelled him in patiently bearing hardships; he vied with him in patience or steadfastness (Lane & Aqrab). (be on your guard) is derived from meaning, he tied or bound or beast with a rope in order that it might made fast a thing; he tied or bound a not run away and be kept handy. by he strengthened or God strengthened his heart with ,means جاشه ,means ربط الله على قلبه fortified his heart رابط الامر. in | patience and steadfastness صبر (strive to excel steadfastness) is derived from which means he was patient or steadfast; or he exercised restraint 606 means, he kept or applied himself constantly or assiduously to the thing means, the two رابط الفريقان or affair
