694 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS إنَّا نَرى تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِى السَّمَاءِ. نُقَلِّبُ فِي السَّمَاءِ مَا قَلَّبْتَ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنَّا مَعَكَ نَرْفَعُكَ دَرَجَاتٍ. Meaning that, We are watching from heaven that your heart has turned from the well-wishing of Shaikh Mehr ‘Alī towards supplicating for his chastisement. We shall turn the matter in heaven as you make it turn upon the earth. We are with you, and shall raise your ranks. I am, therefore, sending this letter to Shaikh Ṣāḥib through registered mail. If within the period of one week, he does not send a letter for publication in order to apologize for the unjustified mischief, the case between me and him would be registered in the heavens. I shall, in that case, withdraw the prayers I had made earlier for his life and restoration of honour and comfort. I have been granted this glad tiding in detail from Allah, glorified be His eminence. Thus, if Shaikh Ṣāḥib does not publish a letter about his false charges against me, then the Sign of my truthfulness and veracity is that my prayer against him will make its impact upon him as God Almighty has promised me. I cannot announce a specific date about it at this time because God Almighty has not yet revealed a date to me. If my prayer against him does not show any result, I would be confirmed to be a liar and impos- tor just as Shaikh Ṣāḥib considers me to be. I declare in the name of Allah, His eminence be glorified, that I had informed Shaikh Ṣāḥib both before and after his tribulation. If I am a liar, Shaikh Ṣāḥib would clearly escape my prayer against him and that would be a sufficient proof of my being false. If this matter had been confined to myself, I would have shown patience, but it is a matter of faith and a source of misguidance for the common people.
