42 A'INA-E-KAMALAT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS اینکه تکفیر مسلمانان کنی از بخل و کین شرمت آید از خدائے عادل و ذی اختیار Oye who gives lies and infidelity to Muslims out of jealousy and enmity! Feel ashamed in the presence of Allah, the Just and All-Powerful! سهل باشد از زبان خویش تکفیر کسے مشکل افته آن زمان چون پر سد از وے کر دگار It is easy to brand someone else a disbeliever, You will suffer hardship at the time you are called to account by Almighty Allah! کلمه گویان را چرا کافر نہی نام اے اخی گر تو داری خوف حق رو بیخ کفر خود برار O my brother! Why do you label reciters of the Kalimah [the declara- tion of faith in Islam] as disbelievers? If you fear God, rid yourself of your own kufr [disbelief]. ایزدت بخشند چو پیران صدق و سوز و اصطبار پیر گشتی خلق پیران را نمی دانی ہنوز You have grown old, yet you fail to conduct yourself as the elderly; May Allah grant you the sincerity, anguish, and patience of the elderly. منکرے گرکنی تکفیر قوم خود چه کار کرده رو اگر مردی جہود سے را با سلام اندر آر What have you accomplished by calling your own, people disbelievers ? If you are courageous enough, go and convert a Jew (or an atheist) into a Muslim. چون نسیم صبح محشر پرده بردارد ز کار کیست کافر کیست مومن خود بگردد آشکار On the morning of the Day of Judgment, the veil will be lifted— It will be openly manifest who the disbeliever is and who the believer is. گر خردمندی بروگن فکر نفس خود سخت لاف ایمان خود چه چیزے نورِ ایمان را بیار If you are wise, go and worry about yourself; Claims of faith are of no avail. Bring forth the real light of faith.
