Proceedings of Jalsa Salana, Qadian, District Gurdaspur, on 27 December 1892 at the home of the Mujaddid [Reformer] of the Time, Messiah of the Age, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, may the Gracious protect him, and the view of my humble self about it that I formed after meeting the aforementioned Mirza Ṣāḥib and view- ing the Jalsa and the attendees of Jalsa. Mirza [Ghulam Ahmad] Ṣāḥib also invited me to the Jalsa in spite of being fully aware that I am his opponent. In fact, I not only opposed him, but also spoke ill of him two or three times. He sent me a few letters, including one by registered mail. Although I had not been inclined to go on account of my own ignorance and opposition, my heart was inspired by the repeated invitations of Mirza Ṣāḥib. If Mirza Ṣāḥib had not written to me with so much kindness, I would certainly not have gone and would have been deprived. But it was his res- olute spirit. The present-day maulawīs do not treat even their real fathers with such kindness and respect. I arrived in Qadian before noon on the 27th of December. 1.
