SIGN OF THE DAY OF JUDGMENT 623 eminence, informs His Noble Prophet as about the life of Moses, peace be upon him, and says: فَلَا تَكُنْ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِنْ لِقَابِهِ Further, the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has himself spoken about his becoming alive after death, his being raised to Heaven and meeting the Most Exalted Companion. Then what is so unique in the life of the Messiah [Jesus] that is not found in others? During the night of Mi'raj, the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, encountered all Prophets equally alive and saw Haḍrat Īsā [Jesus] sitting along with Haḍrat Yaḥyā [John]. May Almighty Allah shower His mercy upon Maulawi ‘Abdul- Haqq, the Muḥaddith of Dehli, who records the statement of another muḥaddith of his time that it is verily his belief that if anyone, being a Muslim, considers the life of any other Prophet to be more potent than the life of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, then that individual falls outside of the pale of Islam, or perhaps he had written that that individual is close to becoming a kāfir [disbeliever]. Nevertheless, these maulawīs do not desist from such mischievous acts and depart from the Faith merely to publicize their enmity towards my humble self. It would be better if God Almighty wiped them all off the face of the earth in order to protect the religion of Islam from their deliberate distortions.
