Moreover, they surpass other books for they-by force of arguments and reasoning-attract people towards them. Blessed is the one who acquires them, respects them, and diligently studies them; surely he will find them an exem- plary helper. Whoever seeks to decipher the profound intricacies of the Holy Quran and fathom the mysteries of the Book of Allah, the Glorious, should indulge himself in the study of these books, for these books guarantee the knowledge which a wise seeker seeks out. The fragrance of these fragrant plants (books) attracts hearts. They bear a large number of fruits on their branches and without any doubt, they (books) have symbolically taken the form of a garden possessing clus- ters of hanging fruits, wherein no absurdity exists. These (books) are food for thought for the righteous. One of these books is Fașlu'l-Khiṭāb Liqaḍāyā Ahlul-Kitāb and the other prominent one is Taşdīq Barāhīn-e-Aḥmadiyya. These books contain excellent ideas which have been elaborated in a beautiful man- ner through precise words and subtle structures. Thus, these books have become a model for writers. Moreover, the academic philoso- phers dream of penning such books. Many prominent scholars have expressed nothing but praise for these books. The jewels contained in these books surpass the value of jewels worn around the neck, and the pearls found therein are superior to the pearls found in the sea. These books serve as a strong argument to prove that Ḥadrat Maulawi Ṣāḥib attained perfection in this regard and as a concrete proof of fragrance, emitting from his personality. Certainly, you will know the worth of these books after a certain period.
