554 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI UL-WASĀWIS whatever I wrote in my letter, was written with utmost sincerity. So, if you accept my proposal and my words, surely it would be consid- ered an act of kindness to me on your part. Moreover, I will consider it your goodness and favour to me. I will be grateful to you and will pray from Allah, the Gracious, for your longevity. I will keep all my promises and will give two-thirds of my land to your daughter; in addi- tion to that, I will give her a share from what my hands possess. I will fulfil your needs. Surely, I am truthful. You will never find any giver of reward like me nor will you find anyone who loves his close relatives like me. Likewise, you will never find anyone who gives rights to his relatives like me. Moreover, you will find me your helper in your diffi- cult times and the bearer of your burdens. Therefore, do not waste your time in denying and do not reject my affection. Furthermore, do not be of those who are in doubt. Certainly, I have written this letter by the commandment of my Lord. Preserve this letter in your box for this has been written by a truthful and honest person. The promise which I have made, is, in fact, from Allah. Whatever I said, was not said by my own accord, rather I was obliged by Allah's revelation to do so. This was my Lord's will which I have fulfilled. I am not in need of you nor your daughter. Allah never let me face scarcity-besides her are many other women (who could be taken as wives). Allah is the Guardian of the righteous. Therefore, do not doubt this letter of mine, as I have written it with a view to give pure advice. It has been written with the intention to spread the truth and with the hope of a reward from God. Leave this conflict and wait for the end. If the appointed time passes, and I am proven false, then tie a noose around my neck and put a chain upon my feet, giving me such punishment which has never been given to anyone in the whole world. You demand from me the Signs of my Lord. So, there is a Sign for you. He will seize you from your jugular vein. He will give them a rightful punishment. He is nearer to them than they think. This punishment will impact their honour as well as their bodies so that it may disclose the weakness of those who make excuses. Moreover, it will shatter the arrogance of the oppressors. '
