AN ADDENDUM MY LIFE, ANCESTORS, AND BRETHREN IN FAITH 547 They were those who would fight for this base world. They never thought of life after death. They were completely neglectful of Allah's grandeur, His power, His fury, and of affairs related to the life after death. They prostrated in honour of satanic practices while being neglect- ful of the grandeur of Allah, the Self-Subsisting, the Self-Sufficient. Moreover, they do not believe in the verity of our beloved and inno- cent Prophetas and considered him an impostor. God the Lord wit- nessed that they enjoined what is evil and forbade what is right. They uttered profanity to disrespect and mock the Holy Prophetas. They are ready for heresy and disbelief. And it was done in a very good way; thus, I was made a Muḥaddath [recipient of Divine discourse]. So this news, this invita- tion, and this claim reached the sons of my uncle while they proved to be disbelievers in Allah and His Messenger. They did not believe in Divine decree; thus being atheists. Therefore, they became angry due to their inner jealousy. While transgressing, being rebellious, and rid- iculing, they demanded Signs. They started saying that they did not believe in such a God who speaks to anybody or decides whatever He wills or sends revelation to anybody or gives any news to anyone. This is
