AN ADDENDUM MY LIFE, ANCESTORS, AND BRETHREN IN FAITH 533 By this trial the basic doctrine is not disturbed because its main idea, having a strong basis and being like clear running water, remains firm on its foundations; no impurities are allowed to pollute it, such that He sees who chooses to remain in that decrepit house in which his forefa- thers spent their lives, and who shows eagerness to depart from it.
