530 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS Hadith. I also knew that my revelation was neither vague nor did it have an iota of doubt or any kind of impurity. Simultaneously, I believed that the doctrine of the Muslims about the second coming of Jesus Christ was true and there was no doubt in it. Due to this situa- tion, it was very difficult for me to reconcile these two doctrines, so I was very much worried. As a result, I did not content myself only with apparent texts of Hadith because when they were viewed apparently, I felt a subtle smoky smell of contradiction emitting from them. Although strong and incontrovertible arguments were in our favour-moreover, the Holy Quran completely corroborated our point of view-yet I wished to obtain such clear, illuminated, and absolute discernment which should be transparent from every aspect. In addition to that, it should have complete certainty. Therefore, I made humble entreaties to Allah and threw myself in front of God, hoping that He would disclose the secret of the descent of Jesus Christ upon me, and make me understand the true nature of the Antichrist so that I know it through certainty of inference and see it through an eye that has the certainty of sight. Thereupon, Allah turned to me with mercy for my education and understanding. It was revealed to me from Him that in a real sense, this descent is a fact, but the Muslims did not understand this fact because Allah had purposefully kept it hidden. So, His decree, plan, and trial dominated the intellects. Consequently, he diverted their attention from spiritual reality to apparent form, and they contented themselves with it. The similitude of this news is like the similitude of a mustard seed which remained hidden and concealed in its ear for centuries, until my time approached. Islam became something alien, vice became prevalent, the religion of the followers of the cross became dominant and they attacked Muslims with false and defamatory statements. They approved the bloodshed of those lovers [of faith] who were prohibited to be hunted in the same way as the animals living in the environs of the Haramain.
