436 ΑΙΝΑ-Ε-ΚΑMĀLĀT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS mysteries cannot be fathomed. Thus, those who resemble each other are counted as one soul and the name of one is applied to the other. This has been the way of Allah and this matter is not unknown to the men of true knowledge. Allah is One and He loves oneness. Therefore, it has been His way that He sends some pious ones in the footsteps of the Prophets. Hence, he who is sent in the footsteps of the Prophet is named after the same trustworthy Prophet in the Exalted Assembly. Allah sends down upon him the secret of his [the said Prophet's] soul, the substance of his essence, the characteristics of his nature, and the grandeur of his attributes, and unites their essence, nature, name, and makes their wills consistent with each other and brings their attentions and objectives together, making them like two mirrors facing each other emitting and receiving light at once as if they are one and the same. This is the secret of oneness in the souls of the purified ones. It is the secret why Allah has given me the title ‘Promised Messiah. Ponder over this secret and do not be hasty. Allah would not send a Prophet after our Holy Prophet, the Seal of the Prophets, nor would He create the chain of Prophethood anew after its end and abrogate some commandments of the Holy Quran or add to them, or go against His promise and forget the perfection of the Holy Quran and create any discord in the enduring Faith. Do you not read in the sayings of Mustafā [the Chosen One], peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that the Messiah would be one of his followers and will follow all the Islamic commandments and would offer Prayers as those who pray. Indeed, the Holy Quran is replete with the verses which testify that Jesus son of Mary has passed away and joined his brothers Abraham and Moses. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has also conveyed the news of his death and he is the most truthful of those who impart information. Do you not read in the Holy Quran:
