And all that my opponents wish to do by way of bringing the original Messiah [Jesus] back down into the world through unwarranted interpretations is not only stained by the lack of evidence, but this impossible thought is opposed to the manifest texts of the Noble Quran-and there is so much mischief and so much evil in every single aspect of it that it would be impossible for someone who keeps all this in view to say anything but that it is manifestly false. The Noble Quran itself is apparently only a form of dialogue and yet it is a miracle of magnificent rank surpassing all other miracles. Rational proofs are indeed necessary in the first stage; for, without them, Signs are of no avail. It must be noted that the proofs upon the basis of which defendants are sentenced to death in the courts- those proofs are not stronger than these proofs which I have with me from the Quran, Hadith, and the sayings of the great holy guides and the noble saints, but it is necessary to ponder over them and to listen to what I say.
