368 and that: AINA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَى غَيْبِهِ أَحَدًا إِلَّا مَنِ ارْتَضَى مِنْ رَّسُولٍ ! The word Rasul [Messenger] is a general word, and has a common application to a Messenger, a Prophet, and a Muhaddath. Therefore, for a Muslim to believe that this revelation is indeed from God, this argument should suffice that this prophecy has been presented by its recipient together with the claim of his being from Allah and that God Almighty manifested its truth. Notwithstanding, if in your estima- tion it is possible for a person who is, in fact, an impostor, and who claims by way of total fabrication that he is the Vicegerent of Allah, the Appointed One of Allah, the Reformer of the Age and the Promised Messiah, and declares it to be a Sign of his truth that if a particular man refrains from giving his daughter in marriage to him and marries her to someone else, then he would die within three years of the date of such marriage and indeed within even a much shorter period-and then it should transpire exactly so; then I request you in the name of God to come forward with any example of such a prophecy. Otherwise, you must remember that you will be questioned after death about this denial and rejection and this allegation of kufr [disbelief]. God Almighty clearly states: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفُ كَذَّابٌ 20 Ponder over this and see that this clearly says that the prophecy of a person who is false in his claim is never fulfilled. Shaikh Şahib, it is 1. He reveals not His secrets to anyone. Except to him whom He chooses, name- ly a Messenger of His (Sūrah al-Jinn, 72:27-28). [Publisher] 2.
