338 Α'ΙΝΑ-Ε-ΚΑMĀLĀT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS between you and me, and so that he who is a liar and a dajjal may be disgraced. At this moment, something in support of the truth arises from my heart. I cannot suppress it, for it does not proceed from myself. It is an overwhelming inspiration from my Lord. It is that as you consider me to be a kāfir and declare lying to be a special trait of my character, I adjure you in the name of Allah, glorified be His eminence, to imme- diately come and compete with me in the above-mentioned manner so that it be seen who is proven to be the liar, dajjal, and kāfir according to the Noble Quran and the sayings of the Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Following this elucidation, should either one of us hesitate-not- withstanding such intense passion, accusations of disbelief, and denun- ciations of lying and sinning—and refrain from entering the battlefield, skulking away like a jackal with its tail between its legs, then he merits the following prize: I.
