258 Α'ΙΝΑ-Ε-ΚΑMĀLĀT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS His Rubūbiyyat [Providence]. Wisdom flows from his tongue, and the fountains of fine verities issue forth from his heart. Hidden secrets are disclosed to him, and God Almighty manifests Himself upon him in a glorious manner and draws in close proximity to him. He ranks above all and prevails over all others in the acceptance of his prayers, in being granted approbations, in the opening of the doors of understanding, in the disclosure of hidden mysteries, and in the descent of blessings. Thus, having been commissioned by God Almighty, my humble self despatched several thousand registered letters to the well-known opponents in Asia, Europe, and America about these very matters, by way of fully discharging the duty to convey the message to them. I stated that if anyone claimed that this spiritual life could be achieved by any other means without following Khātamul-Anbiyā' [the Seal of the Prophets], may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, such a one should come forth to compete with this humble one. If this is unacceptable, then such a one should come to me as a seeker of truth in order to witness the one-sided display of blessings and Signs. However, no one responded to this with sincerity and good faith, and by keeping aloof, they proved that they all wander in darkness. And as for some of our contemporary brethren in faith who call themselves Muslims, reject this light, neither accepting nor sincerely making an attempt to test the truth, and who are ready to call me a kāfir-the real cause of all these issues is blindness, narrow-mindedness, and extreme bigotry. The presence of such people in Islam cannot be the cause for Islam to bear the blame, and the objection cannot be raised as to why these people were not freed from their spiritual ills or why they have not come out of the graves; for, if someone bolts the doors of their house, sitting in a dark corner, it would not be the fault of the sun that the light of the sun fails to reach them. It is, in fact, the fault of that per- son himself who has behaved in this manner. Apart from this, however uninformed and removed from the truth this group of people may be, they do still openly profess Tauhid [Oneness of God], they have not
