Therefore, to now hold the view that every change taking place in heavenly bodies and the celestial universe is caused only by external physical factors, without the need of any spiritual cause, is completely irrational because, if it were truly so that these changes in heavenly bodies and occurrences in the celestial universe- which comprise of many great benefits, and aid and assist the survival, health, and social needs of humanity on the condition that there be no disorder found in them-came about on their own without the intervening steps of intelligent agencies which can safeguard the design, understanding, expediency, and equilibrium; and [if] all our life's labour, survival, and social needs were left entirely to such things which have no intelligence, no comprehension, no capacity to per- ceive an opportune moment, no ability to protect their efforts from chaos and confusion, and no capability to distinguish the righteous from the wicked so that each may be dealt with in the manner deserved; then darkness and disorder would spread throughout the entire world and there would be no recognition of the Wise Creator― the Powerful, the Just, the Merciful, and the Benevolent [Lord]—nay rather, the continuation of life for these rational beings dwelling upon this earth could not go on for another instant and the world along with all its inhabitants would suffer the shock of witnessing its own end. Hence, what other proof would be clearer, more evident, and more illuminating than not seeing chaos and confusion in the design
