190 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS there being some such event happening in some part of the world or other, it does not remain a far-fetched notion to believe that the abundance of meteoric phenomena points towards the renewal and existence of the spiritual arrangement devised from eternity for giv- ing strength to the Divine Faith. It should also be borne in mind, in particular, that the abundance of meteoric phenomena are not nec- essarily associated only with the actual appearance of a Prophet or a successor of a Prophet for the reformation of the Faith. They are also associated with the happenings that constitute a prelude to the appear- ance of a Prophet or a successor of a Prophet. Indeed, it also occurs with their outstanding successes, for such success means the utter rout of the satanic forces at the hands of the Gracious God. When great happenings which are precursors to the advent of a Prophet or the suc- cessor of a Prophet, or which are the prime supporters of the activi- ties of the Prophet, or which constitute the marks of his victory, an extraordinary meteoric phenomenon takes place near the time of the occurrence of such happenings. Even a fool would clearly understand that such meteoric phenomena have a spiritual significance and that it takes place at the beginning, end, or during the operation of a new spiritual dispensation. This has always been happening and will continue to happen in the future. European scientists today lay great stress upon the meteoric phenomenon of 27 November 1885, and upon other such phenomena of the 19th century, thinking them perhaps to be the best examples in support of their theories. If they reflect a little they will realize that the frequent falling of meteors in the 19th century was due to the fact that in the latter years of this century great spiritual events were destined to take place. God Almighty had determined to rejuvenate His Faith through a humble servant of His, and, therefore, He demonstrated the spectacle of falling meteors in order to re-emphasize what He had most certainly ordained.
