76 ΑΙΝΑ-Ε-ΚΑMĀLĀT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS ز علم نا تمام شان چها گم گشت ملت را ہمہ دریائے قرآن را چو خاشا کے بیفکندند All the pearls of the Quran, they threw away like rubbish; How much has the Muslim ummah suffered from their imperfect knowledge. دلیری با پدید آمد پرستاران میت را ہمہ عیسائیان را از مقال خود مدد دادند They helped all the Christians by their utterances, And thus emboldened the worshippers of a dead body. درین هنگام پر آتش بخواب خوش جہاں کسیم زمان فریاد میدارد که بشتابید نصرت را How can I enjoy a peaceful sleep at a time when this fire is raging? The age cries out: Hasten to help me! شب تاریک و بیم دزد و قوم ما چنیں غافل کجازیں غم روم یا رب نما خود دست قدرت را A dark night; burglars all round; and my nation so careless; Where shall I go, my Lord, with this grief of mine! Manifest the Hand of Your glorious power! بخاک انگیزی شان بر ضیائی خود نمی ترسم نہان کے ماند آن نورے کہ حق بخشید فطرت را I am not afraid of their throwing dust on my light; How can the light that God bestowed upon my nature remain hidden? کجا غوغائے شان بر خاطر من وحشتی آرد که صادق بزدلی نبود و گر بیند قیامت را How can their noise be disconcerting to my heart? For, the truthful does not show cowardice, even if he were facing Doomsday.
