THE MIRACLE OF AHMAD وَكَيْفَ وَرِثْتُ وَلَسْتُ مِنْ أَبْنَائِهِ فَفَكِّرْ وَهَلْ فِي حِزْبِكُمْ مُّتَفَكِّرُ And, why have I been granted the inheritance while I do not descend from him physically? You ought to reflect upon this. Is there no one among you to reflect? أَتَزْعَمُ أَنَّ رَسُوْلَنَا سَيِّدَ الْوَرَى على زَعْمِ شَانِيْهِ تُوُفِّيَ أَبْتَرُ Do you believe that our Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, Died issueless, as the ill-mouthed enemy believes? لَهُ مِثْلُنَا وُلْدُ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُحْشَرُ فَلَا وَالَّذِي خَلْقَ السَّمَاءَ لِأَجْلِهِ I hereby swear by Him who created the heavens that it is not true; rather, our beloved Prophet, Has a few more sons like me and will continue to have even more until the Last Day. فَأَيُّ ثُبُوتٍ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ يُحْضَرُ وَإِنَّا وَرِثْنَا مِثْلَ وُلْدٍ مَتَاعَهُ I have partaken of his inheritance like one's own children. What further evidence is there that you want me to present? غَسَا الْقَمَرَانِ الْمُشْرِقَانِ أَتُنْكِرُ لَهُ خَسَفَ الْقَمْرُ الْمُنِيْرُ وَإِنَّ لِي For him was shown the Sign of a lunar eclipse and for me, Of lunar and solar both. Will you persist in your denial? 133
